Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: Diplomacy.

3rd POV

Inside the Dacian Embassy, Crown Prince Ferdinand was with Ambassador Vlad to finally do diplomatic work within the Empire, with Ferdinand wanting to ensure that Dacia had good deals for the Imperium.

"Sir Vlad, the Imperium can in no way be in a Defensive Pact with the Empire when it comes to Legadonia or the Republic, we can only make defensive agreements against the Communists and only them." Ferdinand said seriously to Vlad while looking him in the eyes.

"But of course, Your Imperial Highness, I assure you, the Imperium will not get involved with the Empire in anything that involves Hostile and Military actions against Legadonia and the Republic" Vlad replied seriously.

"Good, our sacred mission is to eliminate the world of this Evil known as Socialism and Communism, we cannot allow any of these ideas to spread throughout Evropa, because if Evropa falls to the Red Ideals, the rest of the world will fall as well." Said Ferdinand.

Vlad could do nothing more than nod his head, he completely agreed with Ferdinand's words, in his view, until the last Reds and their families die, Socialist and Communist ideals will not disappear from the world for good.

Ferdinand used the "Sacred Mission" card, just as he will use it several times to justify various things he will order in the future, he would now be using the "Sacred Mission" card to begin a Second Crusade and this time against Communism, with a possible way to "free" Evropa from the clutches of Liberalism a third time.

In addition to finally unifying the entire Balkans under one flag and redrawing several borders, Ferdinand saw that he was an Artist when it came to redrawing Borders.

"Is the car already prepared with the escort?" Joseph asked Vlad.

"Yes, Your Imperial Highness, the Imperial Guard along with some Legionnaires will guarantee our safety" Vlad replied, nodding his head.

Ferdinand then ordered them to go to the Empire's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the intention of carrying out negotiations and starting negotiations with the Empire.

They then left the Embassy and drove to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with Ferdinand taking the opportunity to see the Germanic architecture of the Empire through the window of his car.

When they arrived at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ferdinand and Vlad were escorted inside, along with some Imperial Guards and Legionnaires who were allowed in, going to begin negotiations.

When they arrived in the room where the negotiations would take place, Ferdinand saw a familiar face, a little blonde girl with blue eyes and wearing a Military Uniform was close to some men, in addition to Ferdinand being able to see Hans Von Zettour and Kurt Von Rudersdorf.

"Your Imperial Highness Ferdinand, Mr. Croditier, welcome, I am Friedrich Von Wieseltie, and I will be representing the Imperial Government in today's negotiations." Said a tall man, with a slightly above average weight, well-groomed mustache, and well-groomed short hair, wearing formal clothes.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Von Wieseltie, it's also good to see Mr Von Rudersdorf and Mr Von Zettour again." Said Ferdinand in a calm tone as he shook hands with Von Wieseltie before shaking hands with Zettour and Rudersdorf.

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Madame." Said Ferdinand to Tanya as he took her hand and kissed the back of her hand.

"It's an honor to see you again, Your Imperial Highness" Tanya said in a happy tone as she played her part as an innocent little girl, while inside she was complaining.

'Why did he have to kiss my hand and not just shake it like a normal person?! I understand that you have to play the role of a well-mannered Noble, but I didn't need that!' He thought Tanya angrily in her mind while still having the innocent smile on her face.

Hans Von Zettour and Kurt Von Rudersdorf saw this, with them secretly having a smile on their faces, seeing that the plan they devised with Kaiser Friedrich VI could bear certain fruits.

Soon both sides sat down in their respective seats to begin negotiations.

Both spent hours negotiating the terms of some agreements, with Ferdinand only intervening at important moments, while leaving the rest of the work to Vlad, who was an expert on the subject.

"Your Imperial Highness and Mr. Croditier, now we just have to talk about possible Military Agreements" Von Wieseltie said as he then looked at Zettour, who already had some documents in his hand.

"The Empire would like a broader Military Agreement with Imperium Daciae, not only on the sale of Military equipment, but also if possible a Mutual Protection agreement, so that both neighboring nations can defend themselves if one of them is attacked" Zettour said while He stopped looking at the document and then looked at Vlad and Ferdinand.

"Mr. Von Zettour, although we understand that, the Imperium does not want to get involved in Evropa's current war matters, we are more committed to developing ourselves and also developing the countries of the Middle East." Said Ferdinand to Zettour while looking at him seriously.

"However, the Imperium doesn't mind making a Defensive Pact that is only against the Russian Federation, in case they take hostile action against any of our countries" Ferdinand continued while continuing to look at Zettour, who nodded upon hearing his words.

While it may not have gone as planned, at least the Empire will have support should they have an Eastern Front in the future against the Russian Federation if they declare war on the Empire.

Better than having no Defensive Pact for the War that is emerging on the Evropean Continent.

Furthermore, tensions were still ''manageable'', so there would be a good chance that the Empire would convince the Imperium to join them in the War in the future, and then divide the rewards among themselves when it comes time for post-war negotiations against the Republic and Legadonia, such as taking several colonies and dividing them between them and Ildoa.

Little does Zettour know that Ildoa would not join them in the war, leaving the Empire alone against the Republic and Legadonia, at most serving to help against the Free Republic and as Mediators of the Russian-Imperial War, as a way of increasing their international status and influence on Evropa.
