"Let's get this over with, shall we?" Pablo muttered with a confident smile.
Humm!
The ugly-looking robot hummed to life and move forward taking a defensive position. While the Phoenix Flame robot was offensive.
"Lean back, low jab," Pablo commanded.
"Phoenix block, Phoenix Consuming punch" The man controlling the Phoenix commanded.
Bang! Bang!
Pablo's robot defends the attack without taking a step back while also retaliating with a punch. The sound of metal clashing echoed in the old gym while the audience held their breath as they watched the match in anticipation.
After a couple of seconds, the fight got more intense. The Phoenix fighter didn't rush to fight Pablo; he took his time and fought with a guarded strategy.
As for Pablo, he wasn't surprised by the tactics used by the Phoenix Fighter. Since he defeated the four-armed robot, he had taken his time to watch a lot of robots fighting while studying their tricks and tactics.
Thus, the tactics used by the Phoenix were something spectacular. Since he believed would win the match at the end of the day.
Suddenly, the phoenix made an opening that Pablo won't let go. At once, the ugly-looking robot got into a close circle.
"2 by 2"
"Right uppercut, Left Uppercut"
"Lean back, Left lower jab, right lower jab."
"1, 2…. Ace drilling punch"
Bang! Bang!
Watching the series of punches raining on the phoenix robot, the audience sucked in a cold breath as the phoenix was finding it difficult to defend itself as it continuously moved back against the rope.
The ugly robot is going to win.
The audience thought.
But if they were to look at the face of the Phoenix Flame member, they would realize there wasn't any panic on their faces. It was as if this was going according to their plan.
And perhaps, it was going to their plan.
'Finishing….' Pablo with a confident smile on his face as he could already see the end of the fight.

Pablo was unable to finish his command when something unimaginable happened inside the ring.
"Phoenix sky step" The man commanded.
And behold, the Phoenix robot made a fluid movement and escaped from its tight angle.
What just happened?
Everyone had their eyes widened. They stared intently on the stage not believing what they just witnessed.
The ugly robot paused its attack while its punch was still in the air. As for its controller, he was trying to process what just happened. He forgot about controlling the ugly-looking robot.
His brain was short-circuited.
Seeing the shock on everyone's face, the Phoenix knew their plan had worked and a knowing smile plastered on their faces.
As for the Circuit Breaker team, there were only three people in their group. A person was missing.
'I knew it!' Isadora cried in her eyes as veins protruded on her forehead. 'It must be Cedric… That asshole.'
She turned and looked at Cedric only to see the shock on his face. For a moment, Isadora was confused; she opened her mouth but no word came out.
"Where is Kaida?" Fabian asked after recovering from his shock.
Kaida!
At once, the three looked at each other and began to look for Kaida with their hearts racing. Especially, Fabian, he was closer to her and he couldn't believe Kaida would betray their team.
"What is the member of the Circuit Breaker team doing with Phoenix Flame?" A person shouted.
Immediately, everyone turned their attention to the Phoenix Flame team. And behold, there was Kaida with her head low.
Pablo could hear the talking from the audience, hence he turned his head and saw Kaida standing with the opponent.
His mending heart was pierced and cut into pieces. His hand trembled and the controller almost fell. He never believed he would be betrayed when he just began to realize his long-hidden dream.
'Why?! Why?!' He cried tears gathered at the corner of his eyes.
Previously, when he was in the city in his father's company. He was betrayed and lost everything but who would have expected the same thing would happen to him when come back to the Nightshade town.
'Is it my destiny to be betrayed?' He thought his emotion was in disarray.
Sorrow was drawn on his face. The little light in his heart was pulled off, leaving only darkness.
Lost.
Bang!
Right on the stage, the Phoenix robot gave the dormant ugly robot a powerful punch and sent it flying, crashing to the ground lifelessly.
Seeing this, the high momentum inside the old gym died off as everyone's eyes were on the dejected Pablo.
They came to watch the battle in the hope to see if the ugly robot could show its astounding performance but who could have guessed he would be betrayed by his teammates.
Even though such things were not uncommon in robot boxing, seeing it directly left an aftertaste in their mouth.
Now, the question in the heart of the audience was can Pablo get himself together and win this fight?
Most of the audience wanted him to continue fighting but seeing his lifeless face, they knew the answer.
in the ring, the referee had begun the counting.
"3" The referee shouted.
"5"
"Pablo! Pablo! Pablo" A voice screamed from the audience.
No one knows who shouted but the audience began to shout 'Pablo' The chants filled the old gym, shaking it to the core. Everyone was on their feet clapping, screaming his name.
Hearing the continuous scream of his name, Pablo raised his head with tears and looked at the folks for a moment. Lost in the euphoria of the moment, he remembered how he was chased out by his father's friends after giving his best to the city and everyone.
But here…. He knew no one. But this….
Something sparkled in his heart.
'For them,' He thought.
He wiped the tears with the back of his palm and looked at the audience and nodded.
"8" The referee shouted.
"For you" He muttered but the audience could infer what he was saying and radiant smiles appeared on their faces and their scream rose another decibel.
Humm!
The ugly robot sat up and stood slowly with a bolt of volt flashing on its body.
"He's back!"
