Cassian signed the last file and placed it on the table before stretching his arms. He was waiting for his sister to write a letter full of complaints but surprisingly she was silent.
"Shall I prepare tea in the garden like yesterday, your highness?" It was his break time.
Most of the time he used to work in the office without taking a break. However, these days he went to the garden and sat there to watch Alec play.
The maids felt relieved to see his emotions return to his face again.
"Yes! Thank you." He checked there was nothing special left for him to check, tidied his desk and then stood up.
"Ask Ben to arrange a carriage, I will be leaving for the plaza." The maid bowed her head as she followed him.
He was surprised to see Mary sitting in the gazebo with tea and snacks already arranged at the table.
When she noticed him, she smiled and patted the space beside her.
