She nodded in silence, her heart throbbing with the intensity of his sincerity and unspoken feelings, she stifled the smile that threatened to break out of her lips.
She was slowly getting to know him and perhaps he wasn't entirely just a monster with a blackened heart, there was also a warmth blooming within the cold darkness, a warmth she realized only she was capable of stimulating.
He may be arrogant and egoistic, but he was kind to her and he appeared to have a soft spot for her, it appeared that after all the monster was a gentleman only to her, although she was wary of the darkness existing in him but regardless of that fact, she was weirdly intrigued by his dark lineage.
