Rama found it difficult to stop thinking about the mysterious vampire she had encountered that night, he seemed vaguely familiar for a split second, but the more she pressed her thoughts on who he was, the more the familiarity slipped through her fingers.
As she walked into Elsa's room, Elsa tugged her skirt, making her snap out of her thoughts as she looked down at the little girl who was undoubtedly terrified.
"Is he going to hurt us?" Elsa asked, her large blue eyes dancing with fear.
"Who? The vampire?" Rama asked and the girl nodded hastily.
"He won't, he's only a guest, now go to bed." Rama urged as she proceeded to tuck her into bed, but as soon as she climbed in, she halted with wide eyes screening the dimly lit room.
"Can you check for the monsters, please?" Elsa's tiny voice rang with fear.
"Sure." Rama took her time, checking underneath the bed as well as every nook and cranny in the room.
