A screen showing a room appeared in front of Clay.
The room was like Clay's room, the wall was made of wood and the floor was made of grey-colored stone that wasn't even. There was a door that was open and made of wood covered in straw. Inside the room, there was a bed, the bed was just a wooden frame and fabric stitched to the frame, the bed looked like a chair except, the part where you sit is replaced with cloth and the base of the chair's length is as long as an adult human lying down. The room also contained a single cabinet made of wood probably containing clothes.
A very bland room except for the girly vibes the room gives off. It is a room shockingly similar to Clay's.
A person walked in, a girl, she was wearing a long blueish-gray dress that extends down to her ankles, she immediately jumped on her bed and laid down head first with arms to her sides.
The girl was Belle.
Of course, like what most siblings would do once they have the ability to spy on anyone, the first person to appear in their minds is their sibling, in this case, it was Belle. This was something embedded in the bones of every older sibling who finds their younger sibling annoying.
Clay watched as Belle was lying down, hoping for Belle to do something so he can barge into her room intruding on what she was about to do in order to embarrass her. He opened the door to his room so he can dash out at a moment's notice.
With a sinister snicker, Clay watched his sister like a hawk, preparing to ambush the poor and unsuspecting girl.
Then, Belle sat up, closed her door, went to her cabinet, pulled out some clothes, and dug her hands into the deepest part of the cabinet bringing her hands out once she had felt that she picked up what she was looking for, Her hands were holding something that looks like a badly-sewed teddy bear, Belle took out a sewing kit out of her cabinet after placing the object barely acceptable to be called a teddy bear on her bed.
She took out a needle from her sewing kit and inserted a string into the needle hole. Afterward, Belle inserted the sewing needle under the teddy bear's surface, making an effort trying to perfect the looks of the poor teddy bear.
At this moment the door to her room opened quietly, Belle, being quite focused on her sewing didn't realize that Clay was right behind her, leaning quite close enough that Clay could count the individual hair strands on her head.
Clay couldn't stop his evil smile to erupt.
While smiling, Clay prepared to give a good scare to his dear sister.
"BOO!" Clay said in a loud voice.
"AHH!" Belle screamed as she jumped out of her bed opposite Clay.
"CLAY?!"
"WHY'D YOU DO THAT!" Belle shouted as her breathing was still ragged from the scare.
"I was just wondering what you were doing, but seeing that you were busy I decided to surprise you" Clat lied through his teeth while maintaining a poker face.
"So... What were you doing?" Questioned Clay.
At this moment Belle remembered that she was in the middle of patching up her teddy bear.
Seconds passed by in silence that seemed like years to Belle as her face grew redder and redder. When she couldn't handle the embarrassment anymore she made a dash to the door quickly leaving Clay alone in her room.
"Hey, where are you going?" Clay playfully said.
"Anywhere where you aren't!" Belle replied back.
Seeing that his plan worked Clay felt satisfied.
*Ding!*
Clay raised his brows forgetting that he had a mapping stat.
'I forgot about that stat, hmm, I don't feel any change'
Unlike in the past when Clay's stat increased, he didn't feel anything different from increasing his mapping stat.
'Is it because it functions like a skill level?' Clay thought.
'Whatever, now that I gave her a scare it's time to actually use the map'
With the map in hand Clay once again attempted to use it.
'Use map'
*Beep*
A screen showed up, but this time, instead of a room, the screen showed a street with people walking around. Clay realized he could move the view around, so he made his view turn left, looking at a house that was right in front of it.
The door opened revealing Josh, Clay's friend, who stepped out of the house to seemingly go somewhere.
Clay furrowed his brows, wondering what his friend was doing going out at this time. He followed Josh realizing that he could also move his view like walking around, he found out that he could also change the height at which he is looking, he tested that he could only reach as high as a bird could and could not see further than what was shown in the map. Soon, Josh arrived on the outskirts of the village. Clay frowned, as he knew that outside the village there were monsters, animals transformed by the corruption of some systems and system users. The bad type of system users.
Clay immediately wanted to go to Josh and question him but he knew that he wouldn't reach him as fast as he would like to. With a heavy heart, Clay continued watching as his friend ventured farther and farther from the village.
Soon Josh stopped. Thinking that Josh would finally return, Clay heaved a sigh of relief as he couldn't see any further since he was already at the edge of the map, but Josh stood still as if waiting for something.
Suddenly a horned rabbit with red eyes appeared from the border of Clay's view, approaching Josh with slow but heavy steps.
Clay's eyes widened. What he was worrying about came true, his heartbeat quickened as the horned rabbit was getting closer and closer to Josh with every passing second.
Soon, the horned rabbit was within 10 meters of Josh.
