Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Points

Jake watched in awe. He had never seen anything like it before. Vincent then showed him how he could increase or decrease the gravitational pull, causing the object to either float away or come crashing down to the ground.

"Each rare ability is unique and requires specialized training to fully master," Vincent said. "But with dedication and hard work, you can become a true master of your abilities."

Jake was thrilled. He knew that he had a long journey ahead of him, but with Vincent and Maya's help, he could unlock the full potential of his rare ability.

Jake had been training with Maya and Vincent for a few days now, but he was starting to feel like he wasn't making much progress. He had only just unlocked his rare ice ability, and he was still only a level 2. Maya and Vincent had been impressed with his potential, but they all knew that more training wasn't going to be enough to get Jake to the next level.

Vincent had an idea. "Let me see your stat screen," he said to Jake.

Jake hesitated, but he trusted Vincent and Maya. He brought up the menu and showed it to Vincent.

Vincent studied the screen for a moment. "Ah, I see," he said. "You have five unallocated stat points."

Jake looked at him, confused. "What does that mean?"

Vincent explained that each leveler had a set of stats that affected their abilities and overall power. The higher the stat, the more powerful the leveler would be in that area. Stat points could be allocated to different stats to increase them.

"We should use these points to balance out your stats," Vincent said. "Right now, your strength is your highest stat, followed by endurance, with dexterity and intelligence lagging behind. If we can balance them out a bit more, you'll be a more versatile leveler."

Jake was intrigued. He had never thought about stat allocation before. "Okay, but where

should we put the points?"

After a bit of discussion, they decided to allocate the points as follows:

Strength: +2

Endurance: +1

Dexterity: +1

Intelligence: +1

Jake agreed to the plan, and the five extra stat points were allocated accordingly.

After the allocation, Jake's new stats were:

Strength: 12

Endurance: 9

Dexterity: 7

Intelligence: 5

Vincent explained that these extra points would make a significant difference in Jake's abilities and power as a leveler. They continued to discuss how to further improve his stats, and Jake felt like he was finally making some progress.
