Damn everything's going dark. This isn't just me going blind. This is mana exhaustion.
" NoTe switch with me." I say.
" I can't you've exhausted our body too much." NoTe says.
Is that Loki? Looks like he's finally coming out of hiding.
***Kendra
" Rev wake up Baek passed out!" I yell. What's wrong with him. His eyes are all white. Thor is gone which is good.
***Rev
" Time for you to go Rev. I'll bring you back here when it's necessary." It says.
I'm back in space now.
"Rev what happened? Are you okay?" Kendra asks.
" Yeah I'm good." I say. Looks like the sun stopped shaking. That's good.
" Thor is gone but Baek passed out." Kendra says.
I fly towards Baek and grab him. I remove the shields I placed and we all return to earth.
" Is everyone okay?" I ask.
" Barely. NoTe reslly almost killed us." Joker says.
" Yeah if I wasn't able to use Loki's power. We wouldn't be alive. I'm surprised we even fooled him." Reznakov says.
" Where are we?" Baek asks. What the hell? Shouldn't he still be unconscious. He overused his eyes and his mana. He shouldn't have woken up for a few days. However, he just woke up in a couple of minutes.
" I honestly don't know we just landed in some desert area." Joker says.
" Joker let's go. I need some new clothes." Baek says.
" Baek wait we need to talk." I say.
" About what?" Baek asks.
" I'm not traveling with you anymore. I'll no longer pursue absolute strength the way you are. Im going in different direction onto a different path." I say.
" What do you mean?" Baek asks.
I look at Kendra and say. " I love Kendra. I want a family with her. I can't do that right now though. The things we do the things we did. That isn't okay. We can't keep continuing it." I say.
" You can stop as well. You can settle down get rid of all your anger. You just proved yourself. I doubt there is any human stronger than you. You are humanity's strongest." I say.
" Am I? You know I was watching you. You easily created another sun. It would've been easier for you to just reassemble the scattered energy and mana. From the sun I previously destroyed. " Baek says.
" That would've been a lot easier and safer. However, you not only created a new sun purely from your own mana. You made it the exact temperature and composition of the previous one." Baek says.
" You also shieled our entire solar system. From my attacks. Sure my last attack made a big crack into it. However not once did you feel it necessary. To reinforce your shield." Baek says.
" You call me humanity's strongest but that's a lie. It's you. Plus I'm not a human anymore I'm a reaper a demon. You're humanity's strongest soldier not me." Baek says.
" It's okay though I understand. We're brother for life so I'll always be here when you need me. Come on Joker." Baek says.
" Bye everyone." Joker says.
" Wait Baek you're leaving already?" I say confused.
" Don't forget to send an invite to your wedding." Baek says while waving goodbye.
Then him and Joker disappear into the shadows.
" It's okay Rev. Baek staying any longer would've just made it harder on him. " Kendra says.
" So you love her. Look at Rev becoming a man and telling everyone his feelings." Reznakov jokes.
***Baek
" Baek are you crying?" Joker asks
" Shut up before I kill you." I say.
" Why didn't you use the white hellfire. Wouldn't that have made the fight easier?" Joker asks.
" I wanted to prove that martial and weapon arts are superior. I didn't want an easy win." I say.
" So what are we going to do now?" Joker asks.
" We need more strength. Plus the 4 horseman have finally tracked down. The next person I'll be adding to my squad. " I say.
" It took them a while Is he strong?" Joker asks."
" They say he's more than strong. That there practically no defense against his mana technique." I say.
" I'm tired of hunting down strong people. Why can't we hunt down someone weak for once." Joker complains.
" Iron sharpens iron. We won't get any stronger fighting against weaklings. " Baek says.
" You do realize I just spent multiple days hiding from NoTe and fighting him." Joker says.
" If you wouldn't have tan then you would've gained more strength. Don't ever run from a fight again." I say.
" Is that an order?" Joker asks sarcastically.
" What do you think?" I say back.
***Legion
" looks like Baek won his match with Thor." I say.
"'Yes and he succeeded in not killing him. Would've been bad if he did." Lucifer says.
" Then we would've had the old Thor back. The one that terrorized the other pantheons." I say.
" Legion when was the last time you seen Kuro." Lucifer asks.
" It's been a long time he left before Baek left." I say
" Track him down. He's never went this long without checking in." Lucifer says.
***Dr.Zikan
" I'm gonna kill them! I'm gonna kill all those little bastards!" Thor screams.
" Sit still." I say while trying to fix his wound.
" You can't fix it can you?" Loki asks.
I sigh and say. " No I can't. Whatever Baek did it permanently damaged him. It's like the attack is still there. I have to protect myself with mana to even touch it." I say.
" That's good to know." Loki says as he disappears.
*** Rev
We looked for Dr.Zikan but not only could we not find him. We couldn't even find the island. It's like the whole place disappeared.
Reznakov went back to hunting Juco. He said since he has his memories back. He can handle Juco on his own. So Kendra and I went back to her father. To tell him she's moving in with me.
He cried tears of joy at first then made various threats. In the end we were all happy. I stopped hearing talks of war everywhere. We weren't attacked by any gods.
It was all crazy before then it turned peaceful. My life has never been this peaceful or calm before.
The mana god hasn't contacted me again either. Next time he does I have questions for him.
Just like that though 3 months passed by.
