Nothing could be more humiliating than this, even though Choi Eun Ji used a wig to cover her head and look no different than before, the fact that beneath that hair was a yellow surface, a bald head couldn't be denied, recalling this, she could only glare hatefully at them again.
Immediately after the school close for the day, Park Seo Yeon didn't wait for her sister and didn't attend the cram class she has as the college entrance examination was coming, instead, she went out to meet her friends in the internet cafe.
At 9:40 pm, she returns back to the school and wait for her sister who came out to meet her at the school gate, and together, they wait for their driver who soon arrive to drive them home.
The moment the door opened, the gloomy aura in the beautifully furnished living room could be perceived, and the shards of broken glass on the floor being picked by the maids that try to merge their aura into nothingness was another proof of the awakened lion.
Park Seo Yun could feel her heart hammering against her chest as she heard the deep breaths of the man sitting on one of the couches.
The man was dress in a casual style, a grey pant and shirt and his hair was stylishly jelled back, but his expression was frightenedly cold as he look up at them when they entered.
Park Seo Yun's gaze travels to another coach where an elegant woman was sitting, with a cup of wine held between her red-painted nails, Lee Binna sipping gently on the wine.
"Mom, Dad, we're back." Park Seo Yun forced a smile. Her sister on the other hand was standing expressionlessly.
"Who drove my car out?!" Park Chung–Ho asked, his original stern face full of anger.
"...The driver" Park Seo Yeon's soft voice sounded as calm as water in the big living room.
Lee Binna who has yet to show any expression on her face shook her head lightly, why did her eldest daughter always keen on fuelling her husband's anger?
However, Park Chung–Ho didn't burst into anger straight away but instead explained.
"I am talking about the Ferrari I bought two months ago!"
When Park Seo Yeon heard this, her eyes shrank from shock, out of all her father's favorite collections, no doubt that he values this baby of his the most! And everybody knew this, even she that loves cars didn't dare to touch this car, who could be so daring to take it out and even damage it?
"It is..." She was about to deny it when from the corner of her eyes she saw her sister's hand in the cardigan trembling. Even though this could go unnoticed by others, Park Seo Yeon was very familiar with this action of her sister.
She always does this whenever she was guilty of something.
A soft sigh escaped Park Seo Yeon's lips as she completed her sentence.
"It was... me."
Silence prevailed and Park Seo Yun turned around as she look at her elder sister who was taking the blame for her, she can't help but bite her lips, she has gotten her sister into another trouble again.
Even their mother seems surprised for a moment but she didn't say anything.
The instant Park Chung–Ho heard this confusion, he struck out his palm and slapped Park Seo Yeon's right cheek.
Park Seo Yeon's face whipped to the side before another slap landed on her left cheek. The force was the same and Park Seo Yeon's face was filled with bright red handprints.
Her face stung and then she was kicked, she took a few steps back but she didn't fall as she had her head down, her hands clenched tightly.
"How. dare. you. take. out. my. car?! You even damaged it!" Park Chung–Ho pointed in anger, veins popping on his neck.
He grabbed the flower vase on the coffee table and smashed it in Park Seo Yeon's direction.
Park Seo Yun's whole body trembled in shock as she watch the violent scene, tears streaming down her pale cheek.
The maids also crouched at the side in fear, no one could withstand their master's great temper.
"You will only be receiving one-tenth of your pocket money from now on, the remaining will be used on the repair of my car." Park Chung–Ho stated before angrily walking to the staircase.
Lee Binna also stood up and glanced at both of them lightly before following after her husband.
After the two had gone, Park Seo Yeon also run to the stairs, leaving behind her younger sister who was too guilty to step forward.
Locking her door from behind, Park Seo Yeon's back leaned against the door, her face felt heavy, sighing, she walked to the dressing table and pulled out the chair and sat.
She looked at her face in the mirror, her fair beautiful cheek was filled with the ugly handprint and she was sure that her face would be swollen the next morning.
Just as she was inspecting her wounds, the door of her room was knocked, and running a finger through her hair, she went to open the door. And there, was a plump maid standing.
"Yo–Young Miss, Madam asked me to give you this ointment." The maid bowed and nodding her head, Park Seo Yeon take the ointment from her before closing the door.
Then she threw the ointment on the table and jumped onto her bed without an expression. But if one were to look carefully, one would notice the loneliness hidden deep inside her eyes.
She took out her phone and logged in to her Instagram account. She follows only one 4 people, her best friend, Aurora, her twin sister, her male friend, Lee Dong Hyun and another Korean guy whom she met online, Kim.
She opened her chats with Kim and typed.
"I am lazy again..."
It hasn't been a minute since she tap on the send icon when the other party replied to her.
Kim: ["Are you sad?"]
A faint smile was present on Park Seo Yeon's as she replied.
"How do you know?"
Kim: ["You always leave three ellipses at the end of each sentence whenever you are feeling lonely."]
