The next day.
There was no school so Park Seo Yeon lazed around in her room and was browsing on her phone on the bed.
A knock sounded on her door and before she could ask the person to come in, the person opened the door and peeped inside, it was her sister.
"Seo Yeon, Mother told me to inform you that we would be receiving some visitors this afternoon."
Park Seo Yeon rolled on the bed and grunted. "Do I have to be there?"
Taking out two lollipops from her pocket, Park Seo Yun handed them to her.
"It is a must."
"Okay." Park Seo Yeon nodded as she unwrapped the lollipop.
Park Seo Yun soon left leaving behind Park Seo Yeon who was busy watching movies.
At 12, she was informed that the visitors were there and she went downstairs.
She could hear the laughter from the staircase and her gaze landed in the living room.
Her father was the one that just laughed and her mother and sister were sitting beside each other and were also smiling at something, and sitting on the couch in front of them was someone Park Seo Yeon knew very well.
Her mother's friend, Lim Chae Young.
Lim Chae Young was a successful businesswoman who managed her late husband's company.
And her beauty wasn't lesser than Lee Binna's. She has brown wavy hair and was smoking hot.
And beside her was a young man and the moment Park Seo Yeon's gaze landed on him, her eyes widened slightly.
"Seo Yeon is here" Lim Chae Young smiled lightly upon seeing her.
"Auntie" Park Seo Yeon put on a polite smile as she walked forward.
"Seo Yeon, meet your Aunt's son, Kim Hyun Woo, he just returned from abroad and I heard that you are in the same school. You guys should get along well." Lee Binna smiled lightly.
"Yes." Park Seo Yeon simply nodded as she sat at the side.
"Seriously, I didn't expect Seo Yun to have grown to this extent. She is now a big girl."
"Hahaha, actually, I should be the one saying that I still remember that Seo Yun used to be taller than Hyun Woo, but now in the blink of an eye, he has turned into such a handsome young man, countless girls would probably swarm at him in school."
"Hahaha."
Park Seo Yeon secretly rolled her eyes and was not a bit concerned about how they all focused on her sister, anyway, she was used to this.
To everyone, her sister is simply the most amazing and sensible among them while she was the bad egg, she crossed her leg leisurely and browsed on her phone.
Kim Hyun Woo pursed his pink lips as his eyes landed on the girl who was sitting at the side and was smiling at her phone, he couldn't help but shake his head slightly.
After a while, the chefs announced that the food is ready and everyone went to the dining room to have lunch together.
Everyone added meals to Park Seo Yun's plate, she was treated like a princess while her sister was like an outsider, and this caused Kim Hyun Woo to pity her.
After having lunch, Lim Chae Young was still busy chatting with Lee Binna, and since Kim Hyun Woo has somewhere to go, he decided to leave first.
"Seo Yeon, you should send him off." Just as Park Seo Yeon was about to go back to her room, she heard her father's voice.
Pursing her lips, she turned around and after Kim Hyun Woo bade goodbye to her parents, they both walked out.
Still busy on her phone, both of them walk alongside but didn't say a single word to each other.
They stood by the roadside waiting for the cab that Kim Hyun Woo had called earlier and that when Park Seo Yeon finally break the silence.
"Let's wait for the cab over there." She pointed at the bus stop that wasn't far from where they were standing.
Kim Hyun Woo nodded and they walked forward, never seizing to attract endless gaze as they reached the place and sat on the bench.
"I love your race." Park Seo Yeon said, keeping her phone inside her pant pocket.
"So should I thank you?." Kim Hyun Woo eyes her.
Park Seo Yeon clicks her tongue.
"You don't have to thank me. Anyway, let's compete one day, I am curious who the winner would be."
"I wonder what your parents would do when they find out that you race," He said.
Park Seo Yeon seems stunned before she bursts out laughing, her laughter was crisp and refreshing to the ear.
"My parents? Would Do? Let me think," She tapped on her chin thoughtfully. "They would probably say..." She cleared her throat and mimic her father's voice.
"You this darn girl, I wouldn't ask you to quit racing but just remember not to tarnish the family's reputation, otherwise, I will have to remove your name from the family's registrar."
"That's what my old man will say." She said.
Kim Hyun Woo caught the hint of sadness and loneliness in her eyes and tone and he find himself pitying her again.
"She must be living a tough life." He thought.
"So are you going to tell them?" He heard her ask.
He was about to talk when she asked him curiously.
"Did your mother know that you race?"
"Nope." He shook his head truthfully, causing her to smile.
"So if you refuse to race with me, I will surely tell you to Aunty."
"And how did you know that I race?" He asked.
"Of course, I saw you." She said as a matter of fact, causing him to shake his head.
"And what are you doing there?" He turned his body slightly to look at her.
"Hehe," Park Seo Yeon giggles as she looks ahead.
"To everyone, I am a bad girl, naturally, it wouldn't even be a surprise if I went to a bar, to talk less of racing so Auntie wouldn't bother to ask how I knew. She will probably thank me, thinking in her mind that I don't want to let her son go astray like I am."
Kim Hyun Woo was about to say something when the cab arrived.
She watched as he walked towards the cab and waved at him.
"Goodbye."
He also waved at her back with a small smile as the cabman drive away. 呵
Even after he was long gone, Park Seo Yeon still sat still as she gaze at nothingness and it was only after a while that she shook her head.
"I talk too much."
After saying this, she stood up and walks slowly back home.
