Edward shivered as soon as he noticed that the people around him seemed extra excited to see Jennis step up into the playing field. It was her first match on such a big stage and everyone anticipated her playstyle.
But Jennis did not even look phased as she stepped on the stage. She looked calm and her eyes were determined.
Her opponent was already stuck speechless once he noticed that his opponent was going to be Jennis. He was even more awe-struck once he noticed how hard her gaze was when she looked at him.
"H-Hello, it is my pleasure to go against you today. My name is Weld and I am glad to be your opponent today."
The nervous teen stepped up in front of Jennis and did a quick bow out of nervousness. He was unable to look her in the eye.
