The first 10 to reach a high enough level to ascend to godhood would be the victors of the trial. Everyone else would either return a failure or die during the trial. Seeing this as his chance to obtain his lifelong dream, he more than happily accepted. He was transported to this new world where he would now begin his journey towards godhood, where he would become a legend.
