Elijah looked at each of the goblins and realized that he couldn't just call them by their species name. He wanted to give them individual names that he could remember, so he said, "Since it's only us here and we will be together for a long time, I can't just call you goblins. So I will name you. The one who helped wake me up, the goblin that seems to be the leader, I name you Rajah Siagu. The one that lost his eye, I will name you Bungisngis. The only female to survive, I name you Urduja. And the last goblin who seemed timid but smart, let's call him Efren."
The goblins were immediately startled by the naming ceremony, but they soon began convulsing and writhing in pain. Elijah panicked and asked the system what was happening. The system replied that they were undergoing their first evolution, and although they wouldn't have access to the system, he could monitor their stats and status closely. However, the system warned that their genes and DNA were being reconstructed, which was causing them intense pain.
Elijah was confused and asked why it couldn't be like a white light and then everything is over. The system coldly replied, "This is reality. If your genes and DNA are being reconstructed, I assure you, you will be like them." The system suggested that he knock the goblins out since their mental capacity was like children, and pain could cause them trauma or worse injuries to their psyche that would never heal. Elijah reluctantly followed the system's advice and knocked the goblins out with the shovel.
As Elijah raised the shovel to knock out Bungisngis, he muttered to himself, "Hope you're ready for the grand finale, buddy."
He swung the shovel with all his might and hit Bungisngis on the head. But to his surprise, the goblin didn't go down immediately. Instead, he shook his head and glared at Elijah, as if to say, "Is that all you've got?"
Elijah's eyes widened in disbelief. "Seriously? Okay, let's try that again."
He swung the shovel a second time, and again Bungisngis remained standing. "What the...?" Elijah muttered, feeling a twinge of frustration.
He swung the shovel three more times, each time with more force than before. Finally, on the fifth swing, Bungisngis slumped to the ground, out cold.
"Ha!" Elijah exclaimed triumphantly. "Gotcha!"
The other goblins, who had been knocked out with a single blow, were starting to come to. Elijah sighed and muttered, "Well, at least Bungisngis won't be giving me any trouble for a while."
