As the goblins started to stir, Elijah was nearby, watching them carefully. He was amazed by how much they had grown and how different they looked. "Wow, you guys have changed a lot," he said in surprise.
As he stood there, taking in their new appearance, he couldn't help but be shocked by the changes he saw. Bungisngis was towering over him, and although he wasn't particularly tall, at 178 cm, Bungisngis had to be at least 190 cm. He also noticed that Bungisngis's skin was no longer green but had taken on a grayish hue, and he was built like a rock. Urduja had also grown taller, standing at around the same height as him, but her figure had become more defined, more feminine. She had grown a full set of black hair, and her green skin had become a lighter shade of green. Raja and Efren had also grown taller, although not by much; Elijah estimated that Raja was now around 174 cm, and Efren was around 168 cm. But the main thing about them was that Raja had become muscular, not quite like Bungisngis, but with a more defined muscle tone. Meanwhile, Efren had become a little bit scruffy, with a little muscle added in.
However, with their growth, the goblins had outgrown the rags they had been wearing. Urduja had to cover her private parts with her hands, and Elijah felt a little embarrassed just looking at her. Bungisngis didn't wear anything at all, and the other two still had their rags for shorts. So they talked about how to solve this problem and what to do for food. Raja suggested that they skin the kobold for food and skin, and they could use the skin as temporary clothes since nobody knew how to sew.
Elijah and the goblins convened to discuss their next steps. After some deliberation, they decided that hunting in the forest was too risky at the moment. They were still unsure if there were any kobolds lurking around, and they didn't want to take any chances.
"I don't think it's safe to go into the forest yet," Elijah said, voicing his concerns. "We don't know if there are any more kobolds around, and I don't want to risk any of us getting hurt."
"Master Elijah is right," Urduja agreed. "It's better to be safe than sorry. We should stay here for a while until we're sure that it's safe to go back into the forest."
"I agree," Bungisngis chimed in. "I don't want any of us getting hurt. We can't afford to lose anyone right now."
Raja and Efren nodded in agreement, acknowledging that their safety was the top priority. They knew that they needed to be cautious, especially since they were still recovering from their recent transformation.
After discussing their options, they decided to stay near the lake for a while longer. Elijah suggested that they explore the area more, to familiarize themselves with their surroundings and find any potential sources of food.
"I think we should explore the area around the lake," Elijah said. "We might find some edible plants or small animals that we can hunt so that we can add more variety to the kobold meat. It's better than risking our safety in the forest."
The goblins agreed, and they spent the next few hours scouting the area. They found several edible plants and berries that they could use for additional sustenance. They also spotted some small animals that they could potentially hunt, though they decided to hold off on hunting for the time being because of the lack of tools.
As the sun began to set, they returned to their hall near the lake, feeling a sense of relief that they had avoided any potential danger. Elijah knew that he needed to be cautious in this new world, but he was determined to survive and thrive.
