[TAMIKO]
"I want you," Gabe said as he looked at his new mate. He felt like there was more to Tamiko and more that he should have long paid attention to over the past years. However, that would also imply that he had been cruel to Tamiko just because Tamiko wasn't his mate then.
It was twisted logic and Tamiko stared blankly at the alpha's son who was seated on his bed.
The room was huge and screamed privilege from the moment the door opened, but that wasn't what Tamiko wanted. If anything, he wanted to return to his cabin and fix it before the entitled freaks started glaring at him again.
"Great, you're deaf. I have other important things to worry about than your newfound desire for your slave. So, if you'll excuse me, I have places to be," Tamiko reminded Gabe boredly.
Gabe, on the other hand, was hoping that Tamiko wouldn't leave, especially when he had been hurt. The alpha boy had smelled Tamiko's blood and wanted to help him, then again, wasn't he a little too late to the 'save Tamiko' party?
He had been cruel to the man in so many ways and it was even pathetic of him to claim that he had suddenly changed his mind because of the mate bond.
"Wait, please," Gabe pleaded and Tamiko had just had enough of him.
"I'm leaving and don't follow me, unless you want the whole pack to watch me reject you. Trust me on this, I would gladly do it without a second thought. I keep telling you that but you don't seem to understand.
"Well, that's your problem now, I don't have time to waste with you," Tamiko said as he walked towards the door that had been locked.
He hated the feeling of being trapped in the same room with Gabe.
He hated the fact that his lycan was strangely finding Gabe attractive. That thought repulsed Tamiko and he felt like his lycan was betraying him for a bond with a man they both knew was a cruel little shit.
He didn't want to stay here any longer and allow his cyan to be close to Gabe because it would be a little harder to explain what was happening.
According to the Kawai lycan customs, once the lycan got his mate and completed the mate bond, the lycan, and the human would merge to function as one. But right now, Tamiko would gladly choose death over mating with Gabe.
"Danny got a mate, didn't he? A pretty little thing that grew up in a good family. I must say I'm happy for him. I wonder what it would be like, seeing everything taken from him, say like him being banished from Grealor and being turned into a rogue.
"Don't you think both of them would be the perfect rogues, no?" Gabe said in a cold tone, one that Tamiko knew so well.
Tamiko could hear the threat in the stupid alpha's son's voice and for a moment, he was shocked but snapped out of it real quick. He wanted to think that Gabe wouldn't try shit with his best friend, but then Gabriel Grealor had never been told no by anyone.
He had always gotten what he wanted, even when he knew that it would earn him a scolding from his dad Tamiko was the one person who seemed to hate him wholly and what puzzled Gabe even more, was the fact that Tamiko was too strong and could fight the bond.
It was strange even for a wolf and Gabriel was mad about it.
"Oh, you mean my best friend? Should I show you the directions to his house? Wouldn't it be fun to watch you turn your anger on my best friend, who also happens to be the beta's son? I can imagine how the conversation will go when both fathers meet.
"But hey, you wanna try your luck, no? Go ahead, Gabriel. Threaten my best friend... Do whatever you think will make you feel better with him. But don't forget who I am, Gabriel. I have a feeling that you already know that not even your alpha can command me to do shit, so go on.
"Be the alpha's boy who tries to bully the beta's son, and watch the world light up with pretty fireworks," Tamiko said in an equally chilling tone, only that with his tone, there were no emotions, no considerations, no nothing.
There was just the kind of emptiness that would shock even the strongest man in the pack right now, and that was alpha Ashton.
"Is that all, or do you want me to clean your room for you too?" Tamiko smirked at Gabriel who was staring at him defiantly.
Gabriel Grealor looked like a little puppy challenging Tamiko, but that was the thing. No wolf would ever win against a lycan and everyone knew it.
The Lycans were stronger and more powerful, even the regular ones. And while Gabe had no idea that Tamiko was a Lycan, he knew for a fact that messing with this version of Tamiko would cause him more trouble.
Then again what else could he do when this was the only way to get the attention of the man who hated him and the man he was still reeling from the shock of being mated to?
"I guess we'll have to see whether both fathers will have the conversation you talk of, right? Anyway, make sure to clean this room, down to the last speck of dust. You have three hours, because, in three hours, I will be announcing the whole pack.
"You know, the one about how I ended up being mateless even though my mate is right here with me. One last thing, Tamiko, just because I am your mate and because you think you can reject me, doesn't mean you have an upper hand with me.
"You will always be Tamiko the freak as long as you don't accept the mate bond. You will always be the man that people will step on, and the man I'm planning on having fun with.
"You should be prepared, because your tomorrow is officially uncertain," Gabe lied as he walked towards Tamiko, making sure to take slower steps like he wanted to see what Tamiko would really do.
He had been hoping to intimidate Tamiko with his little speech, but when he reached Tamiko, he noticed something that he hadn't even thought was possible.
"You were sleeping while I was talking? What the hell?" Gabe asked angrily when he noticed that Tamiko's breaths had slowed down, and yet all this time, he was staring at Gabe.
Tamiko sleeping with his eyes open, while standing, was the first thing that genuinely scared Gabe.
"I didn't find anything you said interesting. If it helps, that was my subconscious response to all the possible bullshit you just spewed. Seriously though, are we done here, or do you want to threaten me more?
"About your room... you have servants. Make use of them, I'm not your servant, Gabriel," Tamiko casually shrugged at the man, as he roughly pushed Gabe away from him, intentionally sending the alpha boy to the floor, right where Tamiko had been thrown when the warrior brought him here.
"See you at the assembly. And clean up well, will you? You smell worse than your bullshit," Tamiko said before he roughly opened the door, making sure to bow to Gabe as he left the room, because he knew people were watching.
