Right after the meeting, Jared wasted not another minute in his company and immediately drove straight to a friend's place.
His mind drifted back to the meeting and the look of utter shock on Kairav's face when he rejected the business deal.
"You said? Why?"
"Nothing personal. I do not make hasty decisions when it comes to business."
"Hasty? You've had time with these documents."
"Yes and right now isn't the time."
"Fine then. I guess I will take it to another company that sees the potential of this business deal."
"Go ahead."
To Kairav's dismay, Jared neither begged him nor cajoled him and was ready to throw it off without a single thought.
He gritted, balling his fingers into fists underneath the table.
Even with his emotions flying everywhere, Jared was neither concerned nor dismayed.
