Queen Of The Desert
In the desert, there existed a story untold to the ears of the people. A tale that had lived in the shadows, its existence unknown to all. This story had brought change to the desert, weaving the fates and destinies of two women who ruled the desert as one. It was the story of the Queens of the Desert.
Asa, a young woman with no discernible rank or status, had once been a dirty orphan. Her life had taken a dramatic turn when she was saved by a girl of the same age, named Bulsa, who bore a striking resemblance to her. Unaware of the identity of her savior, Asa had vowed to find her and repay her debt. The only clue she had was that the girl, Bulsa, was of noble birth.
Years of searching had yielded nothing, until Asa met Hadar. He happened to notice her uncanny resemblance to Queen Bulsa of the desert kingdom of Kharos, who was currently bedridden and ill. Hadar proposed a deal to Asa: in exchange for her help in finding the one person she had been searching for, Asa would agree to act as the queen while the real Queen Bulsa underwent secret treatment.
When Asa laid eyes on Queen Bulsa for the first time, lying unconscious in her bed, she knew. This was the person she had been searching for all along.
