Skai needed clarification about what to do with Mrs. Beck. All she could do was wait for them to retrieve her belongings but at the same time, she realised it would be quicker if she placed a call to her phone.
Pressing a small smile as though reassuring Mrs Beck, she reached for the telephone once more and dialled her number.
Ring! Ring!
Skai's eyes flew open. 'It's ringing!' she exclaimed inwardly, silently waiting for someone to answer.
After about a minute of doing so and getting nothing, her hopes were dashed to pieces as she gently placed down the telephone.
'Is it lost?'

Unknown to Skai, the moment she called her number the phone on Damien's desk came to life as an unfamiliar number flashed on the screen.
Damien's heart fluttered when he saw the phone lit up and felt the table vibrate.
