"You…" he blinked, confusion evident in his eyes. "You know my name."
Yasmin knew there was no denying it. She called his name loud and clear. Still, she tried to get out of that situation.
"You heard wrong." Yasmin stood up and yanked her hand from his. He reached for her again and she pulled back. "We shouldn't meet again."
Shawn rose to his feet as well, blocking her path. "You cannot leave."
"Who's stopping me?"
"I."
Yasmin scoffed. "Try and I'll scream."
Seeing as he was reacting, Yasmin walked past Shawn and immediately raced out of the restaurant.
'Good thing I paid as soon as I got my meal, or else.' she shuddered. 'I do not plan on crossing him more. I already made a mistake.'
"Yasmin."
Yasmin froze in her step. 'He followed? Urgh! Stubborn Jaydens.'
