Clay was facing a slime, his eyes stared with concentration toward the slime's gelatinous body. the slime made the first move!... it rolled over?
while slime is notorious for being easy, this was not what Clay expected. Losing all fear, Clay arbitrarily stabbed the slime, gaining a meager amount of experience.
[xp +1]
Finding them mundane and icky Clay killed 8 slimes as fast as he could, and gained 8 Xp and in the process leveled up.
Level 2 reached
+1 to all stats
The slimes never stopped appearing, to Clay this was magical and stupid. Why would the world need infinite problems? Such mystics where beyond him.
Just as Clay leveled up gaining plus one to all stats, another hologram appeared this time in the sky, it was a clock, Or rather the hologram displaying a timer of 5 days.
'I gotta get stronger and fast'
Speeding up his leveling speed Clay reached level 4 in no time, and with level 4 came a class promotion quest.
[class promotion quest]
Your adventures are just getting started, But now you must choose your path forward. Enter the space of bestowment and take the trial of proving.
Player can reached the bestowment space with a simple chant of intent.
Objective: complete trial of proving 0/1
////////\/////////
Clay had never heard of such a trial, he thought adventurers where given a class irrespective of choice. But such an opportunity got him pumped up, and excitement oozing off him.
"To the bestowment space" uttering a chant of intent Clay was whisked away from the field leaving only slimes and sun behind
The bestowment space was a simple wooden room with rough stone floors as If the room was dug out of a mountain. With random objects, and gold strewn around the room.
Within the center upon a pedestal was a simple book made of leather bindings with a title reading basics to the arcana of the world.
To the left was a sword with a golden handle and and a ruby inlay stabbed into a decorative sword holder made of some blue metal.
On the right was a simple bow and arrows on a bow rack, it's simplicity standing out among the room of clutters treasures.
Besides these three many other interesting item could be found around The room, including a pair of scissors and red yarn, a pickax, a crystal orb, and even a small chocker with runes written across it.
But a particular book drew in clays interest, it was a thick book, with pointy silver edges and a clasp binding it shut, the cover of tanned leather was embroidered with a golden tree of representative of a massive size.
Reaching out to the ancient looking book Clay felt that was the object right for him. Holding the book within his hands he blew off some dust and found the found the books title.
'101 ways to be a good Druid'
'What the hell did I pick up? Well it's is what it is' Clay thought of the book as he got flashed with blinding light before being transported out. His exit to the field was peaceful until 5 slimes ganged up on him! Clay was in prepared and got parts of his cloths melted off, the skin beneath was tickled by the acidic nature of the slimes.
After giggling for a minute or two Clay composed himself and slayed the slimes so he could check the system notifications he had gotten after exiting the bestowment space.

Pulling up his system panel Clay found that he had gained the Druid class. What this meant alluded Clay but with the book in his hands he could probably figure it out…
Opening the silver clasped book Clay found a runic language covered page reading
" Hello Druid of new, or old, this is a explanation on Druids and a few tips on how to be one!
What is a Druid? A Druid is someone of any race or origin who can communicate with the universe itself, usually starting with plants and not cosmic phenomena. Lets start with a bit of practice. Start out by going to s open field of just grass."
Clay checked his surroundings, it may be a field but plenty of slimes where around. Moving away towards a less slime infested part of the field Clay went back to reading
"Now sit down in a comfortable position(as long as your not laying down) and try to connect with the world around you specifically the wind or grass"
Clay sat down in a lotus position and tried to connect with the grass, he felt it beneath his skin and it's sway in the wind.
After a while he could even smell the grass around him as the wind wafted it through his nose. He couldn't say it was a connection but he definitely could feel the grasses presence.
After an unknown amount of time, even with his eyes closed Clay could feel the vastness of the field, and the presence of indistinguishable creatures along the grass. The feeling was a clear connection with the grass.
Moving his attention to the wind Clay found it much easier a second time. connecting with the winds took no time at all and Clay could feel the connection within half an hour, the winds where different from the grass. He couldn't feel what they touched but instead the information that they carried. Vague bits of ideas or incomplete sentences, drifted by his ears.
With such connections to the winds and grass Clay could feel what the grass felt, and hear what the winds heard, giving him an idea of his extended area.
Coming out of his compression stupor, Clay noticed that the timer in the sky read just over 3 days.
he had spent almost 2 days sitting here, And yet he didn't feel hungry!
Checking his status for abnormalities Clay found somthing within his status.
[Buff: Natures blessing I]
Description: user regains stamina and health 5% faster, satiation decreases 50% slower.
Not worried about the timer Clay headed back to town in search of some grub.
