Synopsis
Googling "how to talk to your crush" can be an every day thing for many people, but to one girl, Ivy Scott, Google isn't her first answer. Instead, she asks who would know how to talk their crush? Well who knows better than their crush themselves! In this novel, Ivy Scott takes on the challenge of making the first move to her classmate, Ava Bell, after realizing she's unexpectedly in love with her. Trying to see if Ava likes her back, she has to talk and get to know her in order to conclude how their story will pan out. But what Ivy doesn't want is to lose a new found friend if she tells Ava her feelings. On top of that, how long will it take for Ava to realize that Ivy's crush, who she gives "crush advise" to, is her? This story will take a while to complete because I am extremely busy with other books and with life! I apologize for slow updates but I promise I will make this story worth it! -Author

Chapter 1 - Prologue

Going into google and typing "how to talk to my crush" or "how to ask out your crush" has been a pretty common thing to many people. But you see, it only gives you advice of what "normal" people would react to. And you see, i'm not normal.

But the thing is, this isn't about me, it's about her.

Her, Ava Bell, the prettiest red haired girl I have ever laid my sapphic eyes on. She is so frickin pretty I swear if looks is what got you to the afterlife she'd be a goddess herself bro.

She has pretty light sage green eyes and perfect pale white skin. Her style? Shit bro I think she beats the whole school!

I guess you can say she dressed like a cottage core fan but sometimes she would never shy away from goth core, and I MEAN never.

Aside from her perfect beauty, SHE HAS AN AWESOME PERSONALITY LIKE HELLO? The first time I talked to her when we ended up being paired up in our first period seating chart I thought she'd be a shy soft girl, BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! SHE'S ACTUALLY CONFIDENT AND TALKATIVE? LIKE WHERE DID YOU HIDE THAT FROM. She was the first to ever talk to me and me being my antisocial awkward self I TRIED my hardest to match her energy. BUT THIS WAS BEFORE I HAD A CRUSH ON HER LIKE I KINDA WISH PAST ME WOULD HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THAT SITUATION BECAUSE NOW I'M NOT PROGRESSING... anyways.

She is really funny and thoughtful and kind! Can I just mention how HARD it is to find a girl like that nowadays? The girls in High School all act like they're the hottest bad bitches ever, yet when their cheap nail press-ons fall off they act like its the end of the god damn universe. Like to be honest I apologize to everyone on behalf of my gender and others because let's just say that me and many others don't own them.

Anyways what was I talking about? Oh yeah, HER. All i can say is that she, is my newfound crush, and I don't know where to even start.

Like to be honest, I just ended a relationship last year because my ex-girlfriend turned out to be a narcissistic person and I thought I knew her, when in reality I didn't. And I needed some time off from a relationship after that and well since then I've been coping. Sure some guys confessed to me a couple times during the year but I was glad to say I was a lesbian to their faces! Sorry but my type is women haha.

Only until recently I started to realize how lonely I started to become as I found myself wanting to feel that love again. But I don't know if maybe it's because I may be demisexual or something, but ever since I started High school I saw so many beautiful women, but I could never bring myself to find feelings for them.

That's how it was for Ava at first too, but before Winter break, I slowly realized I had an infatuation with her... and boy was that a shocker to me.

So now here I am. Sad, Gay, and Alone. Craving for the need of someone to love and for someone to love me.

I've been trying to find reasons to talk to her as I only have her for three periods for the whole day. But the truth is, she is WAYYY out of my league.

Like sure, first thing when people see is that one, I have short fluffy hair, two, I'm a female, three, I look like a hippy who woke up next to a homeless man's car. And four, that I have no emotions whatsoever.

And then next to HER, she's a pretty, cute, and awesome person who KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS IN LIFE! And like, she's something, but sadly i'm nothing.

So back to why I first started this conversation in the first place. Many people ask the internet about how to make the first move. And yes, while I could just walk up to someone and be like "hey, just wanted to let you know that I like you, and I think we'd be great together, but if that's not how you feel, then I totally understand." But you see if I'm really in love with someone, then finding out that they don't want to do anything with me, kinda hurts surprisingly. So, while many people would seek advice from people or robots, that doesn't 100% guarantee that it'll work. So, I propose my theory about using what you know about the person in order to make you're first move!

Well, I don't really know much about Ava Bell to be completely honest, she's a bit secluded and hangs out with some popular girls. All I know is that her favorite color is brown and that she likes cats, oh, and that she loves music. How can I tell? Well she always blasts her music whenever she's in class, and by that I mean all the time.

Sadly because I don't know her well I can't really be like "Hey just so you know I like you hahahahahah". I have to make her my my friend first, and right now she's just a classmate.

Well, I think that I should be asking the same questions you ask google about your crush, but instead. Maybe let your crush themselves tell you those answers. After all, who else knows how they would like to be treated with other than yourself?

I'm Ivy Scott, and this is a message for those who don't understand what love can bring. So join in on this ride with me will ya?
