When her mum didn't say anything or do anything, she scoffed and went back to separating and then a loud noise was heard from the servants. It was so loud that everyone stopped fighting. Are you mad? Do you actually know the kind of noise you just made? Sandra said giving the servant a slap. Did I slap you when you were making a noise? Mrs whitmoore asked as she signalled the servants to leave. I can't believe you laid a hand on my servants like you're the one paying their salary. She said looking down on Sandra. Who gave you the right to think you can all come to my house and do as you well please? She shouted looking at everyone. We're sorry Cynthia. Melody began to say but she was silenced. No one is allowed to talk. I'm the only one allowed to speak here. She said. This is my house and I make the rules. If you don't like it, then get the hell outta here. I will not let anyone disturb the peace of this house. She said. I'm so sick and tired of you all fighting everyday and so I'll make sure you all get punished. No allowance for anyone and no one is allowed to go for shopping or spa massages. She said as Sandra frowned. You can't do that. Sonia said. Oh, I will and if anyone doesn't like it, you're welcome to leave or I'll personally kick you out if need be. She said pointing at the door. We're sorry. The kids said as she sighed feeling perturbed and frustrated. You can all go to your rooms. I need some time to think. She dismissed them. Only Melody stayed. I said I need time alone Melody which includes you leaving. She said. Ok. Melody said leaving.

Emily. Mary called holding her hands as she turned to see the twins. What do you guys want? She said folding her hands as Marcus smiled. What are you smiling about? You guys are creeping me out. Speak up. She said. Nothing. You look all strong and tough but inside you're a big softie. He said as Mary nodded. Like a coconut. Marcus completed as Emily scoffed. You've got to be kidding me. She said turning to them. Weren't you asked to go to your rooms? She asked them. We would. Marcus said. Emily, we just thought you hated us and didn't want to be seen with us but after today, we know you love us and would do anything for us and for that we're grateful for standing up for us. Mary said as Marcus nodded. Oui, merci pour ça. He said as Emily and Mary rolled their eyes. What! That's french for yep, thanks for that. He exclaimed. Anyways, I don't know what you guys are talking about. I wanted to hit that nasty girl for so long and I saw the opportunity. It has got nothing to do with you. You guys shouldn't think you're special. She said leaving. She's lying isn't she? Marcus asked. Yep, she is. Mary answered as they both chuckled going to their separate rooms.
************************************The day went by slowly and the house was so cold and quiet. No one came out for dinner except for the men who went to work. Is it me or is this house exceptionally quiet? Tom asked. What else do you think? Gerald said. Don't tell me they had a fight? Tom asked. Of course they fought and I'm happy I wasn't around to witness it. Max said eating. I'm sure my sister in law had a lot on her plate today. Tom said chuckling. Your in law won't have a lot if she had not brought everyone to live under the same roof. He said smearing butter on his bread. For God's sake, this isn't a fucking India movie. Gerald said. Hey come-on. No need to be paranoid. Maybe she had a good reason. Max tried to reason out. Well I ain't seeing any good reason. Gerald said as a maid came. Good evening sir. Ma'am asked that you meet her in the study. She said as he grunted. I'll be there. He answered. She said now sir. The maid insisted. How about you scurry out of here. Shouldn't I eat anymore? He said no one in particular as he stood up and left. Dad, do you think uncle Gerald is scared of aunt? Max asked. What do you think? Everybody is scared of her. We may all act tough but when she's around, we all start to shiver. No one wants to be at her bad side and I think that's why some people choose to be rebellious. No one wants to live in fear and terror. Everyone wants to be free and not be locked in a cage. Tom said. Do you think everybody would be happy at the end? Max asked. Not everyone can have a happy ending. We just gat to try. Tom said as they started eating.
************************************Gerald entered the office to see Cynthia waiting for him. You called Cynthia. He said. What's the problem? No pleasantries. What happened to sister in-law? She asked. Sorry for my manners. I was so tired and was trying to eat properly when you called. Gerald said. So I was bothering you? She asked. No sister in-law. That's not what I meant. He said. Well, that's by the way. She said looking less concerned as Gerald cleared his throat. So how is work? She asked. It's going well. He said. Well? She asked. I meant as it should be. Perfect. He corrected. Good. She said. And the investors? She asked. Everything is going as planned. They have agreed to invest. He said smiling. Good. That's what I want to hear. She said smiling. You may go. She said. Thanks. He said leaving. Wait up. She said standing up and standing in front of him. Talk to your wife. She's getting out of control. Put her in place or else I would help you do that in my own way. She said. Sorry sister in-law. I'll talk to her. He said as she backed him. Good. You may go and good night Gerald. She called out as he left.
