Chapter 39 - Chapter 39: Unleashing Power

Dave's mind raced, a storm of emotions threatening to consume him. His sisters, kidnapped. His family, in danger. The only thought in his head was finding whoever was responsible and making them pay.

He raised his wrist, staring at the sleek smartwatch that had become so much more than just a device. It was an extension of the system, a tool capable of far more than any human technology.

"Smartwatch," he commanded, his voice tight with urgency, "hack every system on Earth. I need every piece of data you can find—security feeds, communications, anything that can help me track down my sisters' kidnappers. Use every resource available."

The smartwatch pulsed in response, and within seconds, its powerful AI connected to the vast digital infrastructure of the planet. Networks, satellites, military databases—nothing was off-limits. The watch scanned, searched, and infiltrated, working faster than any known supercomputer. Dave could feel the energy coursing through the system, his connection to it stronger than ever after his training.

As the smartwatch continued its silent search, Dave paced, his fists clenched tightly. His mind was a blur, alternating between raw anger and cold calculation. Whoever had taken his sisters had to have a reason. It wasn't just a random kidnapping. This was targeted, and he needed to know why.

Minutes passed, though they felt like hours, until finally, the watch vibrated softly.

"Host," the AI spoke, its voice calm and clear, "I have located the individuals responsible for the kidnapping. The mastermind behind the operation is Helios."

Dave froze, his breath catching in his throat. Helios. The same Rank S superhuman he had encountered before. The one who was gathering influence and power across the globe. But why? Why would Helios target his sisters? Was it personal? Or was this about something bigger?

His mind reeled, but there was no time for speculation. He had to act, and he had to act now. The fury that had been simmering inside him suddenly surged, an uncontrollable force that demanded release.

"Helios..." Dave growled under his breath, the name laced with venom. His vision blurred for a moment, and without realizing it, his body responded to the raw intensity of his emotions. A wave of power exploded outward from him—an invisible, unstoppable force.

The ground trembled beneath him, and the air seemed to crackle with energy. Dave's aura, a manifestation of his immense power, flared to life without his conscious control. It was raw, untamed, and overwhelming. He could feel the surge but didn't understand what was happening. His heart raced as his power spilled out uncontrollably.

Suddenly, the world around him changed.

Far beyond his sight, half the city he stood in collapsed into unconsciousness. People on the streets, in buildings, and in vehicles all fell as one. It was as if a massive wave of pressure had swept over them, and they had no choice but to succumb. Cars swerved and crashed, pedestrians collapsed on the sidewalks, and entire buildings went silent as their occupants slumped to the ground.

Dave blinked, feeling the strange energy retract. His anger had boiled over, and something deep within him had responded, but he didn't fully understand what it was. He glanced around, seeing no immediate signs of damage where he stood, but the smartwatch quickly alerted him.

"Warning, Host," the AI said. "Your aura has affected a significant portion of the city. Casualties are minimal, but half the population has been rendered unconscious due to the sheer force of your energy output."

Dave's eyes widened. He hadn't meant to do that—hadn't even realized what he was capable of. He had trained for two months, mastering incredible powers, but this was something else entirely. His strength had grown far beyond what even he understood.

But there was no time to dwell on it now. His sisters needed him, and Helios was going to answer for what he had done.

"Where is Helios?" Dave demanded.

The smartwatch displayed a map, showing the location where Helios was currently hiding out—a distant country, hidden from the public eye.

Dave didn't hesitate. He was done waiting, done holding back. His sisters' lives were at stake, and Helios would pay dearly for his crimes.

Without another word, Dave shot into the sky, his body cutting through the air as if it was second nature. Flight was something he had trained for, and now, he flew faster than ever before, the wind roaring in his ears as he zoomed toward his destination. The city below was a blur of lights and buildings as he ascended higher into the atmosphere.

His thoughts raced as fast as he flew. Helios had made the gravest mistake of his life. Dave wasn't just any superhuman now. He was Rank SS—a level of power that even he was still beginning to understand. The world didn't know what he had become, but they were about to find out.

As he soared through the sky, his gaze locked on the horizon, Dave's resolve hardened. This wasn't just about rescuing his sisters. This was about sending a message to anyone who dared threaten the people he cared about.

Helios had set this in motion, but Dave would end it.
