Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 JOB INTERVIEW

As she stumbled her way into the office, her blue jeans sporting a smudge from the drop of coffee that spilled on it a few minutes ago. Her outfit was not one that would be advised to wear for an interview, but that was all she had, a white shirt and blue jeans... and that would have to do.

But even in her state, her red hair in a slight mess, her cheeks a little red from running and her small pink lips realising small puffs of air, she still looked ever beautiful, just like she always did, she drew the attention of everyone in the office and when she got to the grand reception where she would have to wait for her name to be called, the whole place paused just to see her walk, her head held high in a prideful stance even though she was quiet nervous.

She takes a seat at the far end, away from the rich well dressed women who looked at her with envy, jealousy and hate. They made her more nervous and if she wants a part in this company she needs to not show fear.

She had read a lot on the owner, richest man in the world, he was on every hot bachelor's magazine and he was never below number one.

She had to agree that he was in fact good looking, his dark hair looked shiny in that magazine and his eyes a startling shade of neon blue made her pause and wonder if he was human. He was tall from the magazine approximately six foot six.... she couldn't say she was surprised, powerful men do usually tend to be big.

"Ms Jasmine Miller... Ms Miller the CEO will see you now." the kind receptionist at the front desk rang out and a chill ran up her spine.

She had no idea that the CEO was the one who would conduct the interview, she was scared to her bone marrow.... the man oozed power even when he was not in the room.

Catching her self from day dreaming too far she sends a small smile to the receptionist, before making her way to the door at the far end of the office... offering a small prayer as she went.
