The next day Gloria woke up really late, almost afternoon, and as she tried to rise she felt something on her lap, it was her sister's head, she had dozed off by her side.
Gloria smiled with relief at the surge of warmth of home, she gently nudged Julia who woke a little dazed but soon a huge relief passed over her face seeing Gloria already awake.
"What.." she was a bit muddled as she glanced at Gloria who had already woken up and jumped up excitedly, embracing her in another second with a long and huge sigh of contentment.
"There there, you missed your little sister, this much?" Gloria asked teasingly but Julia replied seriously, "Of course"
Gloria smiled gently moving her hand up and down her sister's back, soothing her mildly.
"We are so lucky."When Julia mumbled this she almost choked up but she controlled her tears and tried to steady her emotions, but in her heart she was going frantic, thanking every celestial existence she knew of for keeping her sister safe and sound.
Julia was still holding onto Gloria as if her dear life depended on her when she remembered something.
"Oh yeah, who is that girl? Did you find her and save her? "
When Julia mentioned this, Gloria knew who she was talking about slightly surprised she gently murmured, "I met her when I was lost", after pausing for a few seconds she spoke softly shaking her head, "Actually she was the one who saved me ."
"Huh!?" Julia was startled a little bit, and she asked confusedly, "How?"
This time Gloria did not say anything but thoughtfully looked at Julia without giving any answer, before softly shaking her head again saying, "I don't remember much. I was almost unconscious by then."
This was again something confusing, "Hmm. Don't think about it for now, rest well." Julia did not want to overexert her already tired sister.
As she was preparing to take a leave, she had just stood up when her hand was held by Gloria making her pause and look back, "What's wrong?"
"Can I go and see her?"
"She is still unconscious. You can meet her when she wakes up, don't exert yourself too much, regain your energy first." Julia suggested quietly looking at Gloria's expectant eyes, there were a few seconds of stalemate before Julia sighed and gave in, "Fine, but come back quick. Come on I will take you there, so eager to see her."
At that Gloria just smiled, as if she did not just use her power card against her sister just now.
Slowly descending down the stairs, Julia gauged Gloria's expression but found nothing odd, she was more confused, according to the legend, she must be her mate but no one had made it back after 3 days of the red moon so was it still applicable to these two? She had all these thoughts running around her mind, when she heard Gloria's voice, "What are you thinking about?"
Before they opened the door to the guest room where that mysterious girl was right now, they stopped, Julia cautiously spoke, "Do you feel something special about her? Or, something like binding attraction type of feeling?" Gloria looked at her feeling stomped, "Not quite like that, but there is indeed something, as if for us to meet there was meant to be. I don't know why but I strongly feel it."
Julia's eyes widened, "Are you sure?"
Gloria gently nodded.
