I started to notice the strangeness of Bruno's absence after fifteen minutes of blissful silence and alone time.
He should have been back after about five minutes .Why was he taking so long to fetch a watch?
You know what,I don't care.I'm just going to cherish this peaceful,quiet moment,I think before proceeding to lie back on my seat and close my eyes.
I snap them open when I hear my phone ringing.
Well, there goes that moment, I think,reaching for it in my pocket.
When I see that it is Bruno's number,I look at it curiously.Why is he calling me?I wonder.If he wants to talk to me,he could just come right back.
Just as I'm about to answer his weird call,my phone stops ringing.
Great.
I don't let it bother me as I figure that he will probably be back soon.
