Louisa could only look at her toes as Ian took his leave, wasn't that what she was trying to do, make him leave.
"I will take my leave to..." Louisa said her voice, trailing as Mrs. Beard gave her a look. Seeing Ian leave the corridor, Mrs. Beard cheerful smile vanished and gave her death eyes. What the fuck was happening?
"Remember your place" was all Louisa heard in cold, icy tone. Why was Mrs. Beard acting weird. Louisa thought she would get a lashing for being a little too close to Ian but instead 3 words in an icy tone.
Was it that Mrs. Beard loved Ian? No way she's not so old, but not so young too. Won't she feel weird that she's dating a younger guy.
But it wasn't impossible, Ian was of course gorgeous but...
Louisa mind wondered not knowing Mrs. Beard had left her there to reminisce. This day got from bad to weird fast.

Leaving work, Louisa walked all the way to the hospital to meet her little sister who will currently underg a surgery for her brain tumor.
Getting to the reception, she asked were her sister was staying currently, because her dad switched wards to the best his money can afford. Giving a faint smile at the reception clerk, Louisa went straight to her room to see her sister awake
" Hi Marcy" Louisa greeted waiting for a reply, after a few seconds a little voice was heard
" Hi Louisa" Marcy replied, a smile on her lips, this tugged Louisa's heart strings. Marcy was her inspiration why she got that dumb job was because her dad would need the money for the surgery.
" how was the ball" Marcy asked, Louisa looked at her ill sister with care
"It was... eventful" Louisa said, if eventful meant she met a nutty guy with a whole lot of issues then yeah it was eventful
"REALLY! Did they like the silver dress" Marcy shrieked, her face full of amusement
" Calm down, they loved the silver dress" Lie, if not for that silver dress she wouldn't have met Ian who is really arrogant. The two chit-chat for some time before Marcy got tired of talking and slept off.
All Louisa hopes is that the surgery goes well, but till then they could only hope fr the best
