Chapter 36 - Unwilling Ralph.

Ralph lounged on a white couch in the middle of the room, his limbs sprawled out lazily as he balanced a plate of food in his lap.

The plush cushions enveloped him in comfort, and he sunk into them with a contented sigh.

The room was filled with soft light, casting a warm glow over everything. Ralph took a bite of his food and chewed thoughtfully, savoring the flavors.

When Ralph finally realized Theovin was in the sitting room, he quickly scrambled to pull his feet off the couch.

In his haste, he bumped his can of soda, which teetered for a moment before spilling over and creating a dark stain on the plush white cushions.

Ralph's heart raced as he tried to compose himself, hoping that Theresa hadn't noticed his clumsy mistake.

The clatter of the can hitting the floor shattered the silence of the room and sent a jolt of panic through Ralph.
