I was heading out of my last class so excited because today was the day the former captain announces the next captain and i wanted to become captain so i was hoping she handed it down to me since i have been groomed for that to happen since i was a little girl on the team and i sat on the gym floor with the rest of the team and the former captain began the announcements and then she said it was time for the next captain announcement and told everyone to do a drum roll please and we did the drum roll and she said the next captain is someone i groomed for this responsibility and that i trust with the team and she said "Kiyah your the new captain Congratulations Baby Girl" and i stood up and received my crown and captain sash and afterwards i left to go home because my brother said he has a surprise for me and when i got home i saw my brother and someone else smoking in front of our crib and when i realized who it was i dropped my stuff jumping into his arms saying" your home"and he said " yeah for good sis" and i realized today was a day of good news
