Two guards at the gate of the Earl Knox residence approached Roxana and Damian. They asked Roxana to stay away from the gate as they had not confirmed her identity.
"Do you have an appointment with the Earl?" asked one of them.
Roxana lowered her hood, revealing strands of silver hair that cascaded down her back. Each strand reflected the light akin to moonlit threads. The way Roxana's silver hair framed her face only enhanced her features, accentuating her piercing eyes and delicate features.
Her silver hair became a symbol of her identity, so the guards immediately knew Roxana's identity as a descendant of the Oberon noble family.
"Tell Earl Knox, Lady Roxana wants to see him to discuss an important case," Roxana ordered.
The guards were unable to refute the order from Roxana because her position was far above Earl Knox. One of them hurriedly ran into the house and reported the Lady's arrival to the Earl.
