Chapter 95 - Golden Age 9: ‘Closing Curtains on a Striking Finale! Overflowing With Blazing Passion!! A Grand Triumph for Kings Who Withstood Everlasting Adversity!!’ (Part 1)

The highschoolers hearing Kenzo's ordering confession stood speechless.

"Ah… ha…?" asked Elias not surprised at all.

Heber smacked his head as Azazel stared with his mouth a gape. Damian on the other hand turned around in disbelief, "Seriously…" he murmured embarrassed.

"Pfft!" laughed Adam and Ryan while Seraph and Helios sighed. Xavier batting the sight chuckled, "Haha…"

"Peasants hun. He sure has a lot's of guts." Isa twitched his brow.

"Hehe… this one is really nerve wreaking even for his highness." Ren guessed the tension between Isa and Kenzo.

"Sigh~ and… here he comes. The most troublesome trouble out of all." Noah sighed looking at Alan who sat on the resting bench below.

His face facing the sky he took deep breaths as a wet towel covered his eyes. "Is it just me or is Alan really at his limits now?" Orion deduced restless. The highschoolers glancing at each other looked at Alan anxiously. Alan gazing at the white cloth which was kept over his eyes sighed.

"Ah… I can't even make out the color of this cloth so forget about even seeing anything. Moreover, I am at my limits as well. The medicine which Stacy prescribed me has already crossed it's time limit for keeping my condition in control. Which concludes it, if I carelessly make a single mistake now it would reveal my entire condition. God knows, which sense I might lose next but it isn't reassuring against Kenzo who initially is the captain of the team. Sigh… so what should I do now…?" he thought wearily.

Kazuna walked over. "What's wrong?" he asked removing the towel from his face. Alan grasping his actions sat straight, "Nothing. What about you? Is something the matter?"

Kazuna looked at Kenzo who walked over towards the pitch, "He is already there. When will you go?"

Alan glanced at him teasingly, "Seriously, are you that eager to see me play?" Kazuna hearing his tease sighed, "That's not what I meant. I meant hurry up and get over with it, so that you can take a rest."

Alan blinked his eyes soon beaming. "Haha! Is little Kazu, kazu worried about me now?" he teased once again. Kazuna serious sighed, "Of course I am. God knows what you've hidden from us about your condition and what's going on inside your body. Seriously did you think I wouldn't know?"

Alan stared at him soon smiling, "As expected… nothing can be kept a secret form him. As if he knows me like the back of his hand. Thank you little Kazu, Kazu… however, let me hide it for a little bit more. After all, there's someone much more curious than you wanting to know about my condition…" he remembered Rauf standing up.

"Kazuna… thanks for worrying your might out. But, I am really alright. No! I am at my utmost best. After all, my opponent is the king I've waited for the most, right Isa?"

Alan glanced at Isa who grinned, "Yeah… give it your all Alan. Let's win this game."

Alan judging his confidence smirked, "Yes… your highness."

The highschoolers looking at each other smiled as Alan wore his jacket again. Haruf eyeing Evan gleamed, "Alan looks pumped up all of a sudden." "Yeah, he does. Since, Isa is behind his back now. Nothing to worry about be it something dangerous or charming nothing can harm him under his guard."

Haruf endorsed, "Yup, a king is a king after all. No generals fear under his monarchy." Nidou looking at Alan tapped his pen on the file as Rauf grasped his sight. "What's wrong?" he inquired.

Nidou smirked devilishly, "Finally some fun…" Aaron sighed, "Seriously, are you even his father?" Ren and Nagi shook their heads in disbelief. "I wonder how many times we have asked this." Elias added. Nidou smirked even wider.

Alan taking his ball stepped into the ground instantly realizing. "Ah… I forgot." he reached his hand over his forehead touching the bandage which Orion had strapped up. Grasping it, he pulled it away.

"What in the world are you doing?!" Orion shrieked upon his actions.

"Haiz, Haiz, no need to freak out Orion. The bandage is disturbing my vision. Furthermore, I am alright now. Don't worry." Alan assured.

Orion gritted his teeth, "Is he out of his mind or something? What if he gets hit again?!"

"It's alright. He didn't meant to act on impulse. It's just a determination to show before his opponent that he is more than ready to face him." Zach explained. "Indeed, because this is Alan's style, the style of a sovereign." endorsed Senri.

Walking towards the pitch Alan grinned intensely, "That's right… this is how it should be. And, this is how I should be. Not to reveal an ounce weakness till the very end, this is how I've always been… Sovereign of Sovereigns…"

Poseidon patting Ezekiel's head smiled. Ezekiel laying straight on the bench slept peacefully. "Seriously… how do you expect me to hit him when he's sleeping like this?" he uttered defeated. Xavier and Seraph smiled. "Forget it, just let him sleep." Cassiel took his words back.

"Really… he isn't even waking up." wondered Adam in awe poking Ezekiel's cheek. "He won't. Not until he recharges." Poseidon told. "Come on, stop disturbing and watch." called Ryan. "So the freak goes to the pitch himself. I wonder if he will laugh crazily like he did standing here?" Gabriel recalled.

"Of course he will. Have you ever seen a time where he doesn't mock anyone whom he detests? I think, he has some kind of personal grudges disorder…" commented Feng who was instantly smacked on the head by Izack who sat above annoyed while, Jonah, Faris and Damian eyed him cross, "Shut it! How dare you ridicule his highness? Do you have no shame?" Feng rubbing his head eyed them speechless.

"Ah… I totally forgot about his fan club…" he mocked teasingly. Silas hearing his words stepped down to smack his head again as Feng hid behind Xavier.

Xavier slightly startled eyed him puzzled. "Vice-captain! Help! He's hitting me!" Feng cried. Xavier smiled at Damian. "Alright, don't stir anymore trouble and pay attention Feng." Xavier said. Feng peeking at behind Xavier made faces at him while he clutched his fists angrily.

"Are they kids… even we look much more sensible then them." Azazel told beside Adam and Ryan. "Like hell you do." Gabriel retorted annoyed as Cassiel sighed. Seles beamed from above whole heartedly.

Helios tracing the pitch whispered, "So the real clash of kings begins hun…"

Alan walking over the pitch stood before Kenzo who grinned. "Took you long enough… sovereign of disguises." Kenzo called out.

Alan hearing his voice smiled, "So it really is you now, Kenzo ShahJahan. I thought I had wait till the very end just to meet you."

"Na, Na let me correct you there it's not Kenzo ShahJahan It's King Kenzo ShahJahan!" Kenzo corrected. "Moreover, too bad, I came earlier than you initially expected me to. So, What are you gonna do now, retreat?" he mocked.

Alan shaking his head responded, "No, on the contrary, it's the best time to face you. Let's have a great over." "King Kenzo ShahJahan." he corrected.

Kenzo grinned, "Of course we will. Even if you hadn't told me to, I would've given you a blasting, humiliating over!" "Oh, is that so?" Alan asked back intrigued.

Tracing Alan's injury on his forehead Kenzo stood serious for a second, "Despite everything, whatever you did for Azazel you have this king's gratitude. But don't think I would go easy on you just to repay you for that. Since, in my eyes you aren't that worthy yet."

Turning around the stared at batting pitch grasping his bat tightly. "I am the one and only king in this world and everything thing I like in it makes me its king. Since, cricket is one amongst it… you and that orange haired friend of yours can't possibly stand here!" he claimed pointing his bat towards Isa who glared back grave.
