"Ah… now that explains why Alan broke the charm of paralysis so easily." Noah murmured beside Aaron. "It wasn't Alan who had become strong instead, it was Ezekiel who had become weak." Kazuna summed up.
"But, it would've been different if Ezekiel had kept himself on a single clone which could've presented a different result." added Rauf from above as Evan nodded.
"Moreover, Ezekiel and Poseidon's abilities has a difference of sky and land. Poseidon's charming skill comes from his endurance while Ezekiel isn't used to a rough treatment at all. So, if Poseidon would've been before Alan in reality Alan wouldn't have broken it that easily." continued Evan.
"Forget it Ezekiel, it's no use using that ability anymore. You're exhausted, if you keep going at it you might hit yourself with a backlash." warned Alan heading back.
Ezekiel taking deep breaths turned from Poseidon's clone to his usual self again. His vision hazy he hung over his bat with head held low, sweat dripping his forehead.
Alan guessing out his sight turned around walking towards him. "Don't… come over…" Ezekiel stopped.
Alan halting amid his steps whispered anxiously, "Are you sure?"
Ezekiel standing smiled, "Of course… it's the last ball after all. Let me give you a surprise."
"Alright, but hear me very clearly. It could be anything else than using Charm of paralysis got that? If I find you using it again mark my words I am going to beat you up with my own two hands!" Alan warned heading back.
Ezekiel letting out a slight laugh assured, "Of course I won't… no matter how much angry I am. I would never make vice-captain worried. He might beat me up real hard before you or Captain would drown me into depths of Atlantis Ocean. So rest assured, it's something really different..."
Poseidon hearing his words stared cross as Helios smiled. "It's alright now. Don't worry." he consoled.
Xavier and Kenzo with Seraph and Gabriel nodded. "But, I suggest you beat him up when he gets back." advised Cassiel as Ebraham and Feng endorsed.
"Yeah! He made Sei, Sei a lot worried." endorsed Adam as Heber, Azazel and Ryan nodded.
Poseidon eyeing them smiled, "Yeah… looks like he needs a good beating." Azazel looked at Seles above not even surprised, "So which one is it now?" he asked sarcastically.
"Yeah~ since all your damn assumptions always turn out right, who's next?" Gabriel rolled his eyes. Seles sighed in disbelief, "Seriously, it was just a presumption. No need to make me a villain."
"A villain? Weren't you one right from the very beginning?" asked Feng as Cassiel and Ryan endorsed.
Seles hearing their remarks sat heart-struck injured. "Come on, it's not good to say something like that." Xavier scolded as Feng apologized.
"But still, who do you think it's now?" asked Helios curiously.
Seles looking ahead pondered, "Looks like this time… I have no idea at all." The middle schoolers looking at each other wondered back. "No idea at all hun…" Kenzo thought over.
Alan running towards the popping crease bowled towards Ezekiel. "The last ball…" Senri whispered as Kazuna and Zach eyed the pitch curious.
Nidou called out from above, "Elias… open your eyes and watch carefully. The reason why I invited him to the base will now expose itself…" Elias hearing his words sat attentively alongside the others, not daring to blink for even a second.
Stepping onto the crease Alan bowled towards Ezekiel. This time the ball without twists or turns was aimed towards the center of the wicket. "It's a normal delivery…" whispered Seraph.
Ezekiel tracing the ball reached his hands towards his hairs while the mist surrounded him. "He is still shape shifting again?!" asked Azazel and Orion together speechless.
The mist darker than before revealed a graceful jacket fluttering with red and blue hairs reaching down his back. A confident smile brimming his face as he stepped forward aiming the bat.
"Nirvana cross swap…" he whispered.
Voice similar to Alan echoed around the ground as the whole audience witnessed the scene stunned.
"To think you would give me such a simple ball, are you kidding me Alan?" Ezekiel asked wearing Alan's clone.
Revealing not even an ounce of flaw two Alan's stood across against each other on the pitch. Keeping the bat before his feet Ezekiel stopped the ball with light dot return.
"Alan…?" the high schoolers uttered baffled.
"Two! Two Alan!!" Adam pointed shocked.
"Oh my god! He didn't even leave Alan?" Feng remarked beside Seraph.
Helios smiled proudly. "If he leaves anyone than that's more surprising." he commented as Poseidon stared relieved. "
A splendid job…" whispered Kenzo satisfied as Ryan and Xavier grinned.
"Oh my dear god… what in the world?!" Senri blinked dazed.
"Are-are my eyes deceiving me or there really are two of Alan?" Noah and Aigou rubbed their eyes continuously.
"Unbelievable… are this year's middle schoolers crazy or something?" Nagi remarked taken aback as Isa wondered awed, "Who knows because this is the limit of craziness."
Elias suddenly smiled. "Got it now?" Nidou inquired ticking his file. Elias nodded, "Yeah… I do."
"Boundless potential." Kazuna stated.
"That boy carries within him a boastful pride and boundless potential. That's the reason he was invited to the base." Zach added.
"To think he would even copy Alan, all guesses are out of reach." commented Seles awed while the middle schoolers smiled.
"Such a grand sight…" complimented Azazel. "Yeah, two Alan's facing each other feels as if a scene out of a movie is unraveled." Cassiel added.
Alan who stood on the pitch smiled at Ezekiel wholeheartedly. "Ah… How unlucky I am hun, I wonder how he looked as my replica…" he thought dejected tracing his surroundings which had all turned black leaving him visionless.
Ezekiel looking at Alan within his clone panted hard. All of a sudden his strength fading. He returned to his usual self kneeling down with his bat falling with a thud. Hearing the sound Alan rushed over, instantly grabbing him in an embrace supporting him.
"Ezekiel!" called Helios and Poseidon worried. Looking at Kenzo who nodded the two of them rushed outside towards the pitch.
Patting Ezekiel's back Alan called in a troubled whisper, "Ezekiel, Ezekiel are you alright? Can you hear me…" on the contrary to find him snoring peacefully. Alan blinked. "Really, you got me there. In the end, he still lost all his anger and strength." he patted his back, "Good job… now sleep for as long as you like…"
Sensing Helios and Poseidon standing before him with Ebraham, Aza and Claude at the back. "Ezekiel…" Poseidon Poseidon worriedly. "Don't worry, he's just sleeping." Alan assured. Helios sighing in relief grabbed him from Alan's arms.
"Seriously… he's such a brat! Always making us worried!" scolded Claude while Ebraham ruffled his hairs. Poseidon smiled at Alan, "Thank you…" Alan hearing his voice nodded. "It's fine. Just do what you feel right from now onwards." he advised heading back.
Turning around he called, "And tell him one more thing after he wakes up. That… I would like to see him taking my form again. It was enthralling to witness it." Helios nodded. Ebraham carrying Ezekiel on his back headed towards the middle schooler's pavilion with others.
Kenzo seeing them return, instantly, unzipped his jacket taking it off. Throwing it towards Heber who caught it by surprise he walked towards his gear. A satisfied grin resting on his face he took out a golden bat which dazzled over a single ray of light.
The middle schoolers tracing his actions smiled at each other. "So it's finally the king's turn. Hun?" asked Seraph.
"Yeah… it is." replied Heber. Damian grinned at Azazel and Heber.
Xavier walking towards him handed him his palm gloves. "Thank you Xavier." Kenzo grinned wearing it. "And, get ready, since you're next." he patted his arm.
Picking up his bat he waited for Poseidon and Helios who returned. "You're leaving?" Helios inquired. Kenzo smirked in return.
"Best of luck!" cheered Feng and Poseidon together. Adam hiding behind Cassiel rolled his eyes, "He is such a show off, that stupid king. Can't he go out normally just for once? Sheesh, always creating a fuss." Cassiel on his comment sighed as Ryan continued, "Of course, acting as if he's a hero saving the world. I can't wait to see his face full of waterworks!"
Kenzo hearing his words twitched his brow vexed, "You rascal! Just you wait till I show…"
"However Ryan rolled his eyes interrupting, "Yeah, yeah just go already. You idoit king." Feng slapped his forehead while Gabriel sighed. Kenzo finally losing his patience was about to strangle Ryan however, Seraph and Heber successfully caught him calming down.
"This brat! I am going to send him to his grave!!" he growled as the middle schoolers exhaled in disbelief. Finally regaining his composure he set his hairs and grabbed his bat walking outside the pavilion. Isntantly he turned around, "Azazel… watch carefully from now on. Because, every single second matters. Let this king show you… what real monarchy is!"
Azazel heeding his advice nodded, "Yes! Your highness!" Advancing as if a Kin of royalty, Kenzo ascended onto the ground as the pitch hailed and wind knelt.
Smirking wildly he glared at the highschoolers. "Now you peasants… kneel before me! For this king has ascended onto this territory!!" he ordered ardently.
Sun reflecting his indestructible might. His voice loud and clear echoed throughout the entire stadium.
