If Minos really were to split a hundred times, then each Soul Form would only have 1% of his power, and if he split a thousand times, it would be 0.1%.
For other people, this was a risky move that they would only do if absolutely necessary, after all, each time a Soul Form Split died, that portion of their soul would be permanently lost.
Not to mention, the weaker their Soul Forms were, the easier they were to destroy, which put them at even higher risk.
But with Minos's Eternal Flame Aptus, that again wasn't a concern, and he could split as many times as he pleased.
Combine that with his Abyss Flame that he could split along with him, he was nigh-unkillable.
This kind of power was somewhat foreign to Minos, after all, while he'd always been strong, he was more of a strategist than an actual fighter.
But the Eternal Flame Aptus, Abyss Flame, and his new Soul Form ability on top gave him a completely new moveset, and he could now be the one bullying, rather than the one getting bullied.
Of course it would still take time to adapt to his new abilities and learn how to most efficiently use them, but that would come with time. Not to mention with the Cat Kingdom's inheritance battle coming up, he'd have plenty of chances to fight.
…
"Ready to set off?" Tylia, who was already waiting in the lounge, asked Minos as he came downstairs.
"Let's go."
Originally he was planning on staying a couple more days to see if anyone else survived, but time waited for no one, not to mention this was a rare opportunity, so Minos could only pray for them.
Besides, he already knew which forces each of them came from, so once he had the time in the future, he'd check in to see if any of them had actually made it.
"Great! You already know the plan, so I won't say much, but before we arrive, can you tell me what the Cat Kingdom is like?" Tylia asked, eyes glittering.
"Cat Kingdom? Well you know, there's a lot of cats, and it's a big kingdom…" Minos mumbled, again, not too sure what the place was actually like.
"Come on now, I know that much! Tell me though, I heard that Cat-Human Hybrids are the most attractive people on the planet, is that true?" Tylia asked, her question even causing her two guards' ears to perk.
"Can't you already tell?" Minos smirked, his words causing Tylia to unconsciously scan his body.
He was still wearing his Abyss Flame Cloak, so everything clung to his body tightly, exposing his physique.
Tall, broad shoulders, slim waist, with a demonically handsome face, three strange cat-whisker-esque marks on his face adding even more mystery.
That thick mane-like black hair coupled with those bright-blue piercing eyes and sharp canine teeth that peaked out as he smirked.
Finally, those cute cat ears and nine-tails that added a layer of innocence and cuteness to his otherwise majestically handsome appearance.
Thinking all this, Tylia couldn't help but blush again, realizing her question was redundant in the first place.
Smiling at her appearance, Minos turned away, though secretly he was thinking what Tinka would think of his new appearance.
But the thought only made him smile more, after all, when he first met Tinka he was just a scrawny little boy with nothing and no one, but she loved him nonetheless.
No matter how he looked, he knew Tinka would always love him, which just made the pain sting even more.
Swallowing his sadness, Minos quickly put those negative thoughts out of his mind, not wanting to keep thinking about losing Tinka, but rather focus on getting her back.
…
The group quickly made their way to the teleportation formation, which Minos was already used to by this point.
After giving their destination, they stepped up onto the formation, the familiar sensation of zero-gravity hitting Minos again as the world twisted.
Untwisting, Minos opened his eyes to a brand new environment, the air here being much warmer than it was before.
Looking around, Minos immediately noticed that not only was the formation operator a woman, but so were the guards.
As he walked out alongside Tylia, he was surprised to find that the vast majority of the workers here were women, which was a bit interesting.
Despite cultivation not inherently favoring any gender, there was no doubt that the world was mostly male-dominated, likely due to men generally being bigger, stronger, and more aggressive.
But over here, things were flipped on their head, women clearly taking the leading role while men were more in the background.
"Heheh, I've noticed you've been looking around, what do you think?" Tylia asked with a giggle.
"It's quite… Unique. I never thought I'd see a place like this, but I suppose it's called the Divine Maiden Continent for a reason." Minos replied, his eyes still looking through the busy streets as they walked.
Not only were the women stronger, but weirdly enough, even the men seemed smaller and daintier, and it was rare to see a group with tall and big men like Minos's.
"Pretty much all the sects here specialize in female cultivation, and it's hard to find one that will accept men, much less one that is controlled by men, hence the situation in front of you." Tylia explained.
"I see…"
"I bet it makes you uncomfortable, huh? That's normal, after all plenty of male cultivators consider the Divine Maiden Continent a sin against nature, a blemish among the Nine Continents, one that shouldn't even exist." Tylia said.
"I wouldn't go that far, but this place certainly is strange, though not for the obvious reasons." Minos replied
"Oh? What do you mean?" Tylia asked with interest.
"While there's no doubt that men mostly dominate the other nine continents, the sects are at least open to most people, giving everyone the opportunity to rise."
"But here… It's almost like the men are kept as pets, purposely held down for the fear that if they did obtain power, they would immediately turn things back in their favor." Minos explained.
"Hmm, I suppose that's a fair analysis. Despite things still not being completely equal on the other continents, it's true that the disparity is far from as bad as things are here."
"On that note, what would you do if you were born on this continent?" Tylia asked curiously.
"Who knows, after all I'd be a completely different person… But in the case I was the same, I'd run, run to a place where I could rise, and if I was ever strong enough, I'd come back and try to make things more fair." Minos answered.
"Heheh, you're quite the optimist, huh? But there's a reason the Divine Maiden Continent has stuck around for so many millenniums."
"I suppose so… Anyways, where are we heading now?" Minos asked, the peculiarities of the Divine Maiden Continent not actually interesting him that much.
"First we have to head up north to Thousand Forest Fortress. Over there we can take the caravan I already told you about." Tylia said.
"And how long will that take?"
"Well, let's see here… The trip up north shouldn't take that long, maybe a month with a good steed."
"As for the caravan to the Cat Kingdom, that will take much longer due to the terrain, likely close to half a year."
"Half a year, huh? Well then, we've got no time to waste."
Like that, the group began walking even faster, soon arriving at another caravan business, though this one only traveled through the Divine Maiden Continent.
"How many people and where are you heading?" The broad lady working the front desk asked Tylia.
"Four people, one-way trip to the Thousand Forest Fortress please."
"Would you like, normal, fast, or elite?"
"Elite, thank you."
Nodding, the broad lady quickly tapped in a few things before handing the group four tickets which were ready to leave in half a day.
"Are these caravan businesses popular?" Minos asked, having yet to travel with one.
"Very, after all teleportation formations are extremely expensive, so unless necessary, people prefer using these." Tylia replied.
"Then how fast would an elite ticket be?"
"Normal only uses Mortal Renewal Realm Beasts, fast uses Inner Heaven, and elite uses Aperture Opening, of course all low-tier, no mid or top, so like I said, about a month."
Nodding, Minos took his ticket and had a seat, the caravan still not setting off for the next few hours.
As he sat, he looked around at the people around him, mostly women with the occasional man sneaking in.
This curiosity was shared both ways, and while Minos was looking around, the ladies were naturally looking at him, their eyes shining with lust, which grossed him out.
