And even high level cultivators would be incentivized to use Minos system because of one word, it's price!
Compared to high-level talismans or weapons capable of communication, Minos's system was cheap, so who wouldn't choose it?
Minos had a family to support now, so while he already had Trin's Abode to feed them, he wanted to do more.
Wealth moved the world, so the richer Minos could begin, the better he could set up his family, and it would even be possible to send Rinka to an elite sect or academy, which would make her life much easier.
Not to mention he would be able to funnel resources into Tinka endlessly, meaning even if her talent was as bad as his, he wouldn't have to worry.
Of course while it was incredibly alluring to think of all these, this plan of his wasn't at all comparable to Trin's Abode, which was like an ant next to an elephant in terms of its reach.
If Minos really went through with this, it wouldn't just change a small city, but rather, it would change the entire continent in a massive way!
But this change naturally wouldn't be allowed by those who benefit with the way things operate now, not to mention those who just want to get a slice of the pie.
While Minos was already incredibly strong at the Inner Heaven Realm, this project would likely involve people in even greater realms, which would be a death sentence for Minos, or at the very least, he'd lose a layer of flesh.
Tapping his finger on the desk for a moment, Minos came to a crossroads, having to choose between taking the risk and trying to figure things out now, or just waiting until he was stronger.
Trin's Abode had long since been incapable of providing for him, and he only really used its revenue in his projects, as well as on Rinka, Tinka, and the others in the tribe.
With that in mind, his finger paused, his thoughts clear and his decision made. Minos also had awful talent, and his resources had long since dried out, so even if he wanted to be lowkey, he had to take a few risks.
Of course, as long as he played his cards right and found the right people to cooperate with, everything should go fine, but that would still require scouting out the Aleph Empire intensively until he found viable partners.
However, this was still a distant future at the moment, so after cleaning up his work station and tucking away his talismans, Minos headed back home.
Entering the house, Minos joined the family in a meal, clearing his plate before opening his mouth to speak.
"I've just finished making enough cures for the entire tribe, so I've got nothing left to do here. With that in mind, I plan on leaving tomorrow." Minos said, silencing the room.
Ronkus should have been happy knowing that he would finally be able to restore his tribe after all these generations, but the news that came with it instantly sapped away his joy.
Rinka also couldn't help but fall into Tinka's arms, her eyes red as she cried softly into her mothers arms.
Tinka's eyes were also red, but she held back tears, trying her best to be strong and not make things any more difficult for Minos.
Meanwhile, Meninka was also overwhelmed with sadness, but all the crying the day before had already drained her tear ducts.
"There's no need to be too sad, with my system in place, we'll be able to talk whenever we want." Minos spoke, alleviating the mood somewhat.
"Minos is right, let's not get all moppy! Besides, I'm sure once the tribe is strong, we can also join them over in the Aleph Empire." Ronkus added.
"Really?" Meninka asked, knowing that Ronkus was incredibly tied to his duties as patriarch.
"Of course, after all I'm already getting old, so it's about time I chose my successor and retired." Ronkus laughed.
"Great!" Meninka said, happy to know she could join her daughter and granddaughter soon enough.
"Awesome! Grandpa and Grandma can come join us, that'll be way funner!" Rinka said, pulling her face from Tinka's arms and rubbing her tears away.
With the future no longer as dim, the news wasn't as painful as it was initially, and the rest of the night passed with no problems.
…
The next day, everyone woke up bright and early, the house filled with both sadness over leaving, but also anticipation over the new journey to start.
Rinka was the most excited, after all, as a young child, her emotions were all over the place, and the sadness from yesterday was already forgotten.
Now all she could talk about was what the Aleph Empire was like, and what kind of these they would see there.
Running around her mom, Rinka kept asking her questions, which Tinka not only couldn't answer, but also got in the way of her packing.
"Rinka, how about you go tell your friends about where we're going, I bet they'll be real envious." Minos said as he entered the room, relieving his poor wifes situation.
"Great idea! They're going to be so mad, hahahah!" Rinka laughed, running out the door to go gather her friends.
"Thank heavens, I thought my head was about to explode." Tinka said, collapsing on the bed.
Laughing, Minos took over Tinka's job, stuffing the suitcase to the brim before placing it in his spatial ring.
"So we're really leaving…" Tinka said as she stared at the ceiling, reality finally setting in.
"All journeys start somewhere, and wasn't this always your dream?" Minos smiled.
"You're right, this is always what I wanted, but the truth is, I never really considered leaving my parents behind. I guess I always assumed they would always be behind me, no matter where I went…" Tinka said, her eyes becoming slightly red.
"Back when I lived in that small village with my family, I thought the same thing. Never in a million years did I think they would ever leave me, but life has a way of surprising you."
"Honey…" Tinka said, her heart aching for Minos's past.
"I didn't say that so you would pity me, rather, what I want to tell you is that when you're weak, you can only go where life points you, but when you're strong, you choose the life you want." Minos said before continuing.
"Right now life has blessed you with an opportunity to get stronger, so take it and never look back, because you never know when it may suddenly turn on you…" Minos sighed.
Hearing his words, Tinka went silent for a moment, hearing just how much regret there was in Minos's voice.
"You're right, no more sulking! From now I'll get strong, that way my parents will be able to rely on me! Thank you Minos." Tinka smiled, jumping up out of the bed.
Smiling, Minos continuing packing, Tinka joining him with a renewed attitude, letting them get the work done twice as fast.
With everything packed, Minos called Rinka back from her friends, gathering the family for one more goodbye before they headed out.
This goodbye was especially saddening because it was the last one, but as Minos reminded everyone about the communication device, they managed to just barely get over it.
"Before I go, this is a special communication device that you can use to talk to my people in Underwood City. They'll supply the tribe with enough cultivation resources, of course, how you distribute them is up to your discretion." Minos said, handing the hand-sized device to Ronkus.
"Also, if you ever find yourself in trouble, just give them a call, they should be able to help you out." Minos finished.
"Good, I'll try not to bother them." Ronkus said, tucking the device securely into his cloth.
"Also, I've got all the cures tucked away in my cave, so you can administer them whenever you want."
"Okay."
"Well, I've said everything I needed to. It's about time we left, after all, the day is still young." Minos said, helping Tinka and Rinka mount the horse.
"Goodbye Mom, goodbye Dad!" Tinka said, waving.
"Bye Grandpa and Grandma, don't forget me!" Rinka added, shouting out.
It was only as they heard the shouts, did the rest of the tribe realize what was happening, looking at Minos, Tinka, and Rinka disappear into the forest.
It wasn't the first time the family had left, so the tribe just assumed they would be back soon enough, neither Ronkus or Meninka planning on disclosing the truth yet.
With the family gone, Meninka began crying into her husband's shoulder, Ronkus's eyes also red, trying his best not to cry.
"Come on, we've got a tribe to cure. Once everyone becomes cultivators we'll be able to join them, so the sooner we get to work, the better." Ronkus said, not only for Meninka, but also for himself.
"You're right. Besides, I think I'm already out of tears." Meninka joked, causing Ronkus to laugh alongside her.
…
Meanwhile, back in Underwood Mountain Range, Tinka was also feeling sad, but everytime she wanted to cry, she remembered Minos's words, and toughened herself back up.
Rinka on the other hand seemed to be in her own world, looking around with joy as she enjoyed the forest view.
