I took a deep breath. Put my hands under my chin while listening to Kirana tell me a story about Anthony did to her last night. "…He always put that thing inside…"
"O-okay, that's enough. I get it, okay? Now, back to the topic." Who wants to listen to your cousin's sex life? Is that gross?
She put on her makeup and sighed. Everything we did in life always has a risk. It is worth it or not; I don't know. She's blind. On the other side, that woman wants to be free from the shackle. Her mom, according to her, wants her to marry her with an old man.
She's 25 years old, blind, and… don't have skills. I'm not mocking her, but… I don't want her choice let her to her disaster. This life is tough. "Julia, do you hear me?" I shook my head and leaned my back. I need to vent my depression.
"I call you back." I hang up the video call.
A door opened. "Is that you, Julia?" I'm approaching her.
"Yeah, it's me." What should I tell her!? If I lie, she's on her own. "I've got a good news and bad news for you. Which want you to hearing it first?"
I dragged her to the chair and let her seat. "Bad news first." She said.
It will be tough. "The bad news is, I can't bring you to another town because I don't know what is your talent or skill, but if you have… someone you can trust and live with them. It's not a problem." She put her head down. "Do you… have a skill or anything?" She shook her head.
"Maybe it's my fate trapped here for the rest of my life." I feel bad, but it's for her sake. She had never stepped out of this mansion since her parents divorced. I can live with her, but what about Irene? Will she hurt her? She's know nothing.
I sit next to her and holding her hand. "I'm experiencing discrimination from several communities in Asia back then," she lift her head.
"Seriously!?" I'm nodding my head. "W-why they do that!? You're kind, Julia. Why they do that!?" At least I can cheer her up not to be pessimistic. You will earn your freedom, Ms. Jenkins.
"I'm a lesbian. Some of country in Asia banned LGBTQ+ community and some of them… hypocrite. Thailand was none of them because they're a hot spot for LGBTQ+ community. Have you… heard about that?" She shook her head. "Put your head on my shoulder. You need that."
She leaned her head on my shoulder. "What do you think about this life? I mean, I heard some rumor about you from my grandma. All media said that you are a grey cloud." Huh, I just heard that rumor now. Why the media called me a grey cloud? Is that because I left?
I haven't read a newspaper or article since my arrival in this town. "I…"
Oh, shit! She straightened her body, then standing up. "Your mother wanted to see you, Ms. Jilian." Oh, your name is Jilian. She snorted.
"It's fine. Go meet your mom. I'm waiting." She put her arms surrounding him. The bald masked man. Who is he? She needs a friend. Whenever I'm looking at her, she needs someone to stand next to her side. I can do that, but… will she be okay? She only knows I'm an author and having an affair with ANTM's winner.
Maybe… I should visit the trailer park again to process everything inside my head right now.

"Here's your noodle." I'm nodding my head. "Where's your… girlfriend? She's not coming?" She's there when I'm with Kirana visiting this trailer-market. It's the only store we can find.
Maybe it's look like a bunch of a crap, but the food they served is delicious. "Um… she's leaving." Thank God they didn't know me. For these people, I'm just a guest from that mansion.
"You'll find a better one, anyway. Do you know… Julia Harianto?" I shook my head. "I heard she was visiting Rocknesse."
"Oh yeah? When?" I asked her.
"I presume she's there about… two weeks ago, some of my friends went to the town today, and they came back bring the news." She said. "You know, my sister wants to meet her one day, and I hope it's free." I raised my eyebrow.
"Free!? So, her fans should pay to meet her?" See? That's why I hate my publisher. Pay first, then meet.
"Not really. She often attend to unofficial meet and greet event." She said. That means, all communication from the town, it's take a long time to receive except you are rich enough to buy an internet. No wonder only a few people stayed here. "Anyway, gotta back to work. Enjoy your meal…"
"My name is Jilian Jenkins." I wiped my hands with a tissue.
"I hope you're not from that Jenkins family. Enjoy your meal." She left me. Hah… that the close one. What does she say? That Jenkins Family!? I stir my noodle and sniff a little. Shit. Kirana will punch me if she knows this. I can't wait to tell her I was eating this noodle alone.
I should bring my phone earlier. Sending the picture to her. "Hahaha…" I can't help myself not to imagine how her expression. What about Jillian? I was thinking about her lately since we first met. I saw her sitting alone. Fuck. stir again and pour the sauce into my noodle.
She hasn't stepped her foot to outside of this world because of parents. Her blindness. I can't imagine if I am in her position. Blind, vulnerable, she has no one to talk to except her parent and grandma.
I closed the pot, lower the heat, and waiting the noodle perfectly cooked. Kirana taught me how to cook an instant noodle perfectly. What a life, doesn't it?
Whenever I go, chaos always be with me. Tonight, no stars, moonlight, and breeze gently blow my face. What is Irene doing now? She keeps sending me a text, called me, and mentioning me in all of my social media.
Shit, I'm hungry. I open the lid. Argh… why with Kirana everything is fast? I forgot to bring my phone. "You alright, Jillian?" That waiter earlier.
She puts my drink next to the pot. "I'm fine. Don't worry." She left me. I take a sip of this moonshine. Shit, this taste awful. I took a deep breath and open the lid. At least, I have something delicious to enjoy.
