Luckily I got inside the forest without a problem. There were some guards at the entrance, but once I showed them my ID, they assumed that I was strong enough to protect myself. After all, in this area only weak monsters were roaming around, and they couldn't gauge my rank since only C rankers and above can do that.
" just where in the hell is it?"
it has been like five hours since I started searching. The novel mentioned that the passage to the facility was hidden under a huge white rock beside a river.
Currently I was following the river's path hoping of finding it.
while cussing the unusual hot weather, stopping me from my tracks was the sound of rustling bushes.
"…."
'Looking behind from where I was, a green disgusting creature with some club was looking at me as I was a delicious meal'
" ….. goblin?" He looked pathetic and weak…..how dare this little guy even think of attacking me?
" I brought a weapon just in case and this is what I was cautious of?"
'suddenly more bushes started to move behind the goblin'
Not two or three but a total of nine other goblins appeared.
" .....
well, shit"
Ten goblins is too much...my only option is… to RUN...'
as adrenaline rush began after sensing the danger, I started running like an Olympic athlete'
Never in my life have I ran like today. Luckily goblins were a mere F rank monsters which was considered as the weakest dangerous creatures.
However, my rank was the same as them. I kept running by the river, but I soon realized that they will never leave me alone.
No matter how much I hate this, I have to actually fight and experience it. If I couldn't even have the ability to protect myself from these creatures. Then I can only dream of living through the demons attacks.
I started racking my brain up for any possible solution that could help. Ten goblins are too much to face ahead. The only thing I brought was a common grade dagger from some economic package..
( Artifacts/Weapons/ accessories grading are as followed: Common-Rare-Epic-Legendary-Mythic-Divine)
After thinking for a long time, I came up with an idea.
"Lets see how this works"
Without hesitation, I jumped into the river.
Back in high school, I used to go with my classmates to the school pool after classes. I'm not one to brag but I was excluded in most match because of how good I'm.
' the goblins seemed annoyed as they hate water' but still the river wasn't that deep. And one by one they got in the river.
I dived through the river, but the torrent was quite annoying… at least the goblins were having a worse time than me.
I turned around and got closer to one of them who seemed surprised as I was running away the whole time. I didn't let this chance slide as I immediately slashed it in the neck.
-*Slash*
One slash was all it took.
Blood gashed and splattered all over my hand… and green disgusting blood was dripping from the dagger….
One
I don't know how to describe it but the adrenaline helped me act faster… It was just a disgusting goblin so I didn't feel much about killing it… maybe just felt a bit of disgust over its blood. Thanks to the medical university I got used to the sight of blood.
I tried moving towards the second one but these goblins were smarter than I thought. They kept flocking to help each other.
I kept moving closer to them and once I was close enough I attacked them. Luckily there were only two at the front and the rest were still gathering.
-*Slash*
-*Stab*
Two
Three
Isn't this too easy? Well at least I gained some experience.
Unfortunately for me the rest managed to group up. Still I kept swimming towards them.
Finally, I slashed towards the goblin at the front. I killed him and got ready to defend the attack that was coming from right behind him.
-*Smash*
"!! Ugh!! this freaking hurts! "
The little goblin hit my forearms, and the dagger fell into the river from the shock of the hit.
"Fucking little shit. Eat this"
With all my might I punched the goblins head with my uninjured fist. His skull didn't break but the punch was too strong that the little guy started wheeping and crying.
-Screech
If we were in a deep lake, I would have been weaponless. Luckily the river was not deep, so I retrieved my dagger. The other goblins were quite scared after hearing the cry, and that was my chance.
-*slash*
-*Stab*
Five
Six
" phew…
shit they are running away?"
Seeing that their chances of winning were almost nonexistent, the goblins decided to escape.
Well at least I'm safe for now.
' getting out of the river while drying my clothes, I found a clean white huge rock to lean on'
'rubbing my forearm to relive the stinging pain' " weird, back in my world I fought some kids in my childhood, but I have never experienced such a fight"
I got up and prepared myself to continue the search for the huge rock, and then it just snapped to me that what I was looking for was exactly what I'm currently leaning on.
" Hold on…. This fits the description"
…..
….
..
.
[ As the hero finished his fight In the undiscovered dungeon within the orchid forest, he took a nap in what seemed to be a huge white clean rock right beside the river that had a nice calming gleam]

.
"Great…. Now how the hell am I supposed to move this massive rock…"
In the novel the hero was practicing his new skill from the dungeon and 'accidentally' crashed the rock that had a hidden passage underneath…
" Ughh I will just dig a hole with the dagger"
After like a whole hour of digging, I finally reached the stairway to the facility.
" finally, now lets check out this flying car"
