Outside, soldiers patrolled the place, carrying larger weapons with different damage types. Governors and other well dressed people wandered as well, either talking or standing around, minding their own business.
To the left, the two saw the next building they needed to head to, the cathedral. It looked imposing, resembling more of a military headquarters or a prison with the large glass stained windows barred away from everyone, and the walls built with defense in mind instead of just worship.
"I suppose protection was their primary focus. Or could it be simply part of their belief." She commented, looking at a group of worshippers in long robes, protected by light armor and decorated longswords.
With everything Colton and the others saw, he was more accepting of Calliope's theory, these people are not like the other world they had gone to. Even though it had a heavy amount of soldiers, their buildings were not this secure or protected.
