It took Takara a whopping three days to verify that what he found was what he was looking for, that there were no additional traps around, and to successfully prepare a seal large enough to encompass the entire biju's rebirth egg, sealing it successfully.
With his objective achieved, he left a silent Takigakure and hid away to check his new condition upon entering his mental space.
"This is a peculiar sensation, quite interesting," he commented to himself as he looked around his inner self, floating a few inches above without moving his legs.
The ground was composed of purple water that mimicked the starry sky, where on its ripple-less surface, one could feel the constant movement presence of Ryumyaku as well as the senjutsu chakra it expelled and stored.
Raising his head, one could see a dome that at first glance gave the feeling of being some kind of artificial sky, but Takara quickly recognized it as a manifestation of his Tenseigan.
"A bit tacky, but it's not like I'll be staring at the inner sky constantly."
His gaze lowered and turned to the ten altars that floated equidistant from each other throughout the place. Nine forming an outer circle, with the tenth, larger in size, at the center.
On one of the outer altars, Chomei's egg was embedded and silent.
Takara floated to it and placed his hand on its surface, which to the touch, felt like some kind of water bed, but its interior radiated a subtle and pleasant warmth.
"It seems there were unexpected side effects due to the sealing," he frowned.
Confirming his suspicions, he could alter the "factory settings" of the biju's rebirth egg so that when a biju dies and reforms in said egg, its personality would be completely blocked and lost, resulting in only being born with the knowledge prior to its death, so that over time, they would slowly remember those things.
A completely blank personality where it would take the first being it saw as its parent, being one hundred percent loyal to its perceived "creator."
But this type of reset came at a price, as the biju would need to mature again from the beginning, and Takara could only obtain the forms of newly born bijus.
Essentially, they shrunk a bit, but in Chomei's case, he would have to go through the larva to adult insect evolution again that took almost a thousand years.
Fortunately, their power would not diminish along with their forms, they would simply have to rediscover their abilities, and with him providing some references, it wouldn't take too long.
But Takara found that the resources accumulated for the creation of the biju's body, which he explicitly confirmed to be present in the egg before sealing it, were lost.
If he had to supply everything to nurture the biju's body formation, he didn't even want to think about the time it would take to remake a single biju.
"Wait, maybe I can..."
He opened his eyes and ordered one of the puppets to bring him the Greed Pot in which the current seven-tailed biju was sealed.
He placed the pot on his lap while his hands formed a double triangle resembling an hourglass, and his needle sword appeared above the pot suspended in the air.
"Curse of Mandala: Sands of the Past!"
Inspired by the Fuma clan's technique, Takara formed a multicolored, semi-transparent chakra barrier in which the Greed Pot was in its lower pyramid, and with a wrist flick, the barrier rotated one hundred and eighty degrees, causing the pot to be inverted and the reddish chakra inside it to begin to fall into the lower pyramid of the barrier in the form of an hourglass like flowing sand.
Curiously, the lower pyramid did not fill up no matter how much chakra flowed from the upper inverted pyramid. Instead, the instant it reached the cross point, Chomei's chakra appeared in Takara's mental space, right inside the biju's egg.
"Indeed, as long as I have both the current biju and its egg, I can recycle them without a problem," Takara was jubilant to see that his idea succeeded.
Logically, the current Chomei should have the resources to make another Chomei; he could even keep its mature body!
It's like using parts from an old computer to make another identical one with the same specifications.
Just reset its configuration, but the parts work the same.
"The only part is that... it's so slow!" From joy, he fell into exasperation at feeling the time it would take to finish this technique.
He might as well let Akatsuki capture everyone and take the statue; it would be faster!
He could increase the chakra poured in by several magnitudes and accelerate the process with it, but then Chomei might start to struggle, interfere, and he would risk it breaking free if he wasn't careful.
Hence the sword, ready to seal everything back.
He couldn't even use the resurrected Kushina or another substitute with good chakra control in his place, as only he could feel his own condition and make the necessary adjustments for optimal absorption.
"No, I have to think of another way," he canceled the transfer and decisively closed the Greed Pot again. "Just this would take more than three months, it's unacceptable."
Takara stood there, with his legs crossed as he thought of a different way to carry out the process while absentmindedly stroking the Greed Pot.
"Should I just mimic Akatsuki?" he considered with lowered spirits, defeated after a long time without reaching a result he considered acceptably fast.
He had wood from the Takigakure tree that was part of the Ten Tails; he could try to make a large puppet of the Six Paths Statue and use it as a means for other puppets under his command to position themselves on its fingers, helping to perform the sealing technique together with his guidance.
Only instead of sealing the tailed beast in the statue itself, they would seal it inside the corresponding rebirth egg within it to recycle it.
"And when I go for the rest of the tailed beast eggs, I could always drain the accumulated resources before sealing it and then inject it with what I took," he thought with the lesson learned and not wishing to go through the same thing again.
Even if he was forced to kill a jinchuriki, the biju would have enough to revive without him wasting time feeding the rebirth egg.
"Decided," Takara stood up and turned with the plan concluded. "First, recover Isobu and Shukaku's eggs, then build the statue puppet while the noxinas search for the rest of them around the world, and put enough seals on it so it can't leave the workshop through reverse summoning."
Who knows if once finished, it would be recognized as a legitimate second statue?
He wouldn't risk Nagato stealing it with Madara's Rinnegan!
Plus, if he can find the eggs of the tailed beasts he doesn't have, like Kokuo, he can order their forced reset, dissolving the current tailed beast into nothing.
