Chapter 59 - Problematic Barriers

Takara hadn't expected to have to use natural energy to carve and assemble the pieces of the Six Paths Puppet.

He was so distracted with the assembly that by the time he finished, he realized he had made two right hands for the puppet!

So, he had to replace one hand to fix them.

While it was a lot of work, it's a fact that when he placed puppets on each finger and used the same technique, the drainage was much more efficient.

It only took him three days to fully recycle Chomei, leaving his new version in a state of dormancy to harness its power without collaboration.

Isobu and Shukaku's rebirth eggs were equally problematic to obtain, but a common point was the presence of natural energy that would have forced transformation upon anyone who didn't master Sage Mode.

The environment of the pyramid beneath the sands where Shukaku's egg was located was set up to drain liquids. It was as if the entire space had some kind of special law where only dryness could exist, as if it were Crocodile's Devil Fruit awakened domain.

Takara reacted quickly upon noticing something was wrong upon entering, but his right arm ended up dry up to his elbow. Quite horrible if he couldn't recover with the help of Katsuyu, his Sage Mode, and the Uzumaki chakra provided by a resurrected Karin.

His puppets had to do all the extraction work, and he needed to remove them periodically to recharge their batteries since their chakra reserves also dried up, and their duration was greatly reduced inside the barrier.

He immediately proceeded to sealing, and once it was placed on the corresponding altar of his mental space, he was tempted to give the order to dispose of the current Shukaku and start forming a new one.

But that would set off Akatsuki's alarms; it was better to deal with the others first.

As for Isobu, it's no wonder his egg was in the same lake where he found it, in the depths of the water.

Maybe he was too lazy to move?

More specifically, the natural energy barrier emulated a false bottom.

The atmosphere of that place was of pure volumetric pressure, as if instead of being a few hundred meters underwater, it was thousands of meters deep.

An ideal environment for the tailed beast with the best shell, capable of withstanding that environment, so calm and silent.

Takara had a headache because most of his puppets were not prepared or designed to withstand that environment, evidenced by the losses during his discovery of that peculiarity, forcing him to make new ones just for that purpose and with an idealized design for water environments.

He tried making a puppet of Noelle Silva, but he didn't know if it was due to the degree of affinity or another reason; it was equally crushed as the rest upon entering, just enduring a few seconds longer.

"All right, let's think of something else..."

Jinbei was also another attempt, and although he lasted longer than Noelle's puppet, he still succumbed to the pressure before he could locate Isobu's egg.

Six attempts later, he finally made a puppet capable of withstanding the conditions inside the barrier and showed no signs of collapse despite the time inside.

Tier Harribel.

More specifically, her form after performing "Resurrection" was what managed to stay intact, leveraging her abilities due to the high degree of affinity.

And he only needed to make five of them to slowly, but successfully, extract Isobu's egg!

He spent another three days recycling the three-tailed beast.

Once the process was finished and with two bijus within him, he tried using the chakra of both tailed beasts simultaneously and tested his strength. Then he checked if he could also use Sage Mode and how much the Tenseigan's consumption decreased.

"Roshi shouldn't be a problem in this state, essentially, he only has brute strength and his lava release," Takara thought. "With Isobu's chakra along with the elemental affinity enhancement of the Tenseigan, I should be able to suppress him quickly enough to avoid attracting too much attention."

Although killing nearby watchers was inevitable, it didn't matter.

The point was simply to prevent Black Zetsu from realizing everything too soon.

"Too bad I don't have Saiken or Kurama's egg; with them, I could start using time powers, and everything would be much easier," Takara lamented. "At least I remembered to take the egg reserves before sealing them, so when I dissolve the current Shukaku, I'll be able to remake another one in no time."

Traveling north and passing through a wide bridge hanging from a cliff, Takara encountered someone he didn't expect to find nearby.

"Takara?" Temari looked with wide eyes. "You're still alive!"
