Chapter 7 - I want power

Something just snapped, something inside of me, As I absorbed the crystal into my very being, I felt a surge of energy that I had never experienced before. It was as if every cell in my body was vibrating with power, and I knew that I had become something more than just human.

I spent months in isolation, training my physical body to perfection. My muscles bulged with strength, and my reflexes were honed to a razor's edge. Nothing could scratch me, and I could lift planets with ease.

I traveled to the farthest reaches of the universe, testing my newfound abilities against the toughest opponents I could find. I fought against armies of robots, battled monstrous beasts, and even went toe-to-toe with cosmic beings.

And with each victory, my power grew even stronger.

But even as I reveled in my newfound strength, I couldn't help but feel that something was missing. The crystal, once a part of me, was now gone, absorbed into my very existence.

I searched for answers, seeking out ancient texts and wise sages who might shed light on my condition. And finally, I found what I was looking for.

According to legend, the crystal had once belonged to a being of immense power, a being known only as the Master of Time. He had used the crystal to manipulate the very fabric of reality, bending time and space to his will.

But the Master of Time had been defeated by a coalition of heroes from across the universe, who had sealed him away for all eternity. And in the chaos of battle, the crystal had been lost.

But now, it seemed that the crystal had found a new home in me. And with its power at my disposal, I knew that I could unlock secrets that had been hidden for eons.

I closed my eyes, focusing my mind on the crystal's energy. And as I did, I felt a surge of power that dwarfed anything I had experienced before.

I opened my eyes, and the universe around me seemed to warp and twist. I was no longer on the planet I had been standing on moments ago, but in some kind of interdimensional space.

I looked around and saw that I was not alone. In front of me stood a figure in a long, flowing robe, his face obscured by a hood.

"Who are you?" I asked, my voice echoing through the void.

"I am the Keeper of the Crystal," the figure replied, his voice echoing in my mind. "And you, my child, are the chosen one. You have been blessed with the power of the crystal, and it is your destiny to wield it."

I felt a surge of excitement at his words, and I knew that he spoke the truth. With the crystal's power at my disposal, I was capable of anything.

"Tell me," I said, stepping closer to the Keeper. "What can I do with this power?"

The Keeper smiled, and held out a hand. A ball of light appeared in his palm, pulsing with energy.

"With this power," he said, "you can do anything. You can travel through time, bend reality to your will, and even create entire universes. The only limit is your imagination."

I reached out, taking the ball of light in my own hand. It felt warm to the touch, pulsing with energy.

"And what of the Master of Time?" I asked. "What happened to him?"

The Keeper's smile faded, and he looked down at the ground.

"The Master of Time was a being of immense power, but also of immense cruelty," he said. "He sought to rule the universe with an iron fist, and would stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

Since i have this power, it means i have some control over the world of the dead

I'll send a little message to my victims

"Hello everyone, you were all my victims. Whether you did good or bad, you died by my hands. Betrayed by me, whom you trusted with everything. You guys were foolish to trust someone like me. I was the weakest of you all, no, I was the weakest being in the world, yet you lost to me. It's insane. I know I am a disappointment to you all for the ideals you set upon me, the trust you gave me. I betrayed them all. The sad truth is that you guys are all gone, and I'm left here alone, a pathetic excuse of a person. You deserved better. I'm sorry."

"JUST KIDDING"

You guys are a sorry excuse for humans, you're so dumb I can't even comprehend it

Imagine dying by the weakest person in the world

In my old life, I was mocked, and rejected by the world. I was the cause of a civil war, it killed millions of people, I'm not sorry for anything that I do. \

I feel like I'm becoming like the Master Of Time, No, I won't be like him because he lost to someone, I will far surpass him.

I know the miserable fate that awaits me

If you were God, you would be miserable, for meaning comes from your constraints. If you could move any chess piece in any way you wanted, the game would no longer be fun to play. Your limitations are what give value to your decisions. You may aspire for control, but having too much is a curse. For risk is life's secret ingredient that may silence you forever, but it is also what makes you feel alive.

I shall dismiss those rules and still pursue power.
