In the middle of the night a you can see a young man with elegant facial features and a stone-cold expression. If you look closely you can see that he was covered in sweat.
He was in what you could see as a giant bedroom full of different ornaments. The boy then proceeds to assess his situation.
At first the boy thought it was a dream explaining why the boy isn't shocked in the slightest bit. So he tested his theory by trying to pinch his cheek. Which caused him to feel pain.
Now the boy now that this wasn't a dream he rushed to find an exit to possibly find anyone who can explain to him what the hell is happening. The boy then tried to find the exit to the room.
He did not to look too far because he saw a door to his left. Once he opened it he entered what he thought was a plain bathroom turned out to be a bathroom.
Inside the bathroom what greeted was a mirror hanging on top of the wash basin. Without saying anything he walked towards it.
Soon he observed every inch of his face meticulously.
He was soon forced to acknowledge the truth he transmigrated. That's it, that's the immediate conclusion he got from reading too much of such a genre.
After that sudden realization followed shock. Then next followed happiness. Then soon came another realization and what came after wasn't happiness. What came after was disappointment.
What he realized was that he was in a novel, sure the first realization was like a dream come true for him. But then when he remembered what book he was in and came to the second realization, he was screwed.
This book is anything but a light-hearted one. But a book full of schemes, tragedy, and betrayal especially betrayal. There are so many traitors in this series that it gave the mc trust issues literally.
The moment I saw my face I knew it was this book. This book particularly gave an impression since there's a character with the same name. I mean I paid a lot of attention to this character I even paid attention to his appearance of course.
But it's still too early to come to this conclusion. I need to first find out if I am really in that book. What I need to do now is to stay calm and try to confirm my speculations.
So after I organized my thoughts I realized that it was still nighttime. For now, I should probably rest since kicking up a fuss in the middle of the night might arouse suspicion.
I went to sleep on this king-size bed. I mean my God this whole room is bigger than my condo unit. After admiring the size of the room I then started to lay down on my bed and wow, it was soft. After that, I dozed off into a comfortable sleep.
In the morning I was about to get dressed when a servant brought me a basin to wash my face. I then looked at the servant hesitant to ask my name and where am I. Since not knowing where and who you are will surely make quite a fuss.
After thinking it through I got dressed and walked out of my room. I soon noticed a footstep following me. As I turn around I saw a girl older than me.
Is she my mother? The moment she knew that I noticed her she immediately asked me a question.
"Evan, where are you going?"
The moment she said my name I confirmed it. I am now Evan Drysgale and now I must live in the world of Rhapsody. In a world full of magic and betrayal.
