Wale, a shy yet determined young man from Nigeria, embarks on a work-and-travel program in Minnesota, seeking a fresh start after heartbreak and the betrayal of his ex-girlfriend. While adjusting to life abroad, he meets Sophia, a confident and guarded British woman also healing from a painful past. Their connection blossoms amidst shared laughter, cultural exchanges, and moments of vulnerability, but both agree to keep things casual, fearing the complications of their looming separation.
