Synopsis
In a lavishly decorated bathroom a boy at the age of 18 is looking himself at the mirror. The boy stared long and hard at the mirror. Until he gave up and acknowledged it. He is in a novel and not just any novel. It's in a freaking dark, tragic and gory novel. What's more I am a character who physically can't display emotions. And to answer the previous question....... Yes it is hard being a comic relief.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

A young boy stared at the TV in an old-looking house. The boy was smiling and laughing as he continues to watch. His uncle who has been standing there had a stupefied expression while looking at his niece. He then proceeds to approach the boy.

"Kid what are you laughing so much about."

The boy turns around still with a grin on his face. Which makes the uncle even more confused. Don't get him wrong here it's not like there is a problem with a young child laughing. It's just that this boy's parents died in a traffic accident just yesterday.

"Oh, it's nothing, uncle. That guy there is just funny."

The kid points at the TV screen right at the man. The man on the TV screen is what you would see as comic relief. The uncle alternately looks at the screen and then at the kid that still is glued to the TV.

He then soon started to think if the child is just too innocent and naive. But right now he can't think too much out of it, since he is busy with the preparation for the funeral.

As the uncle left the living room, the boy who continued to watch the TV screen suddenly begins to cry. Although the boy was laughing minutes ago, now he was shedding tears.

As he looks at the TV his heart was filled with emotions both of sadness and admiration. He was looking at the character who is still acting all humorous despite what they have been through.

Then he thought of an idea, what if he can be like those comic relief characters? Will he be able to turn any situation into something humorous? Will he be able to turn all of the pain and sadness that came to him into something laughable?

Thinking along those lines the child begins dreaming to be a comic relief character. The kid then tries his best to be someone very jolly.

But for some reason, people tend to keep a distance from him as if they were scared of him or something. Then the boy noticed he was bringing fear instead of lightening the mood.

Was there something wrong with the way he does his role? The boy never got his answer and was instead treated as an outcast.

So the boy began obsessing with different kinds of movies, anime, manga, and novels. He became someone who some would call a NEET.

Springing from his obsession to become a comic relief he tried watching them as to learn how to better do it himself. This obsession his continued until his last breath.

In his dying moments, he still tried to read one last book. A book where there's a character that has a similar name. Although they have a similar name they don't have anything alike. Except for one goal.
