Time flew by in what seemed like a day for Salvador and his new body.
Two years zipped by, and Salvador turned two physically but mentally 68.
Life in this new world has been easy, to say the least.
His daily routine evolved from Sleeping, Eating, Shitting, and playing with his mom's breast to Sleeping, Eating, Shitting, and reading.
As the days passed, Salvador began realizing that this woman was technically his biological mother. The thought weirded him out and he eventually stopped indulging in the act.
Despite this new life being easy for Salvador, the recurrent problem was his lack of knowledge of the language spoken in this world.
He could form small sentences or recite a singular word to get what he wanted out in the air to his family.
One thing he awaited was the growth of his teeth.
He yearned for the meat cooked in this world.
All the meat had an aroma to it that the meat on Earth only paled in comparison to.
One time he licked the steak and it tasted beyond fantastic to the man-baby. This only raised his lust for the meat, so when his teeth finally grew and he could eat the delicious steak, it was a pure pleasure.
Every bite was savored and chewed as most as he could intake as much as the taste he could.
'I'll really never stop eating this.' He thought as he chomped down on another steak.
**"He really likes the steak."** Nico said out loud, biting on one of his own.
Yves chuckled, swallowing a mouthful of mashed potatoes,**"He does take after his father."** This earned a laugh from the family around.
His diet consisted of meat, mashed potatoes, and some soup when the day was cold.
Other than him being able to eat meat, a small comprehension of what language the people spoke, and the evolved daily routine, his life was virtually the same.
Of course, he didn't sit idle.
Anytime he could he would walk out of the house and explore the village.
He encountered more uses of magic, training grounds, and weekly events that were being held.
It typically consisted of partying, duels, and other games. It was just a simple thing to ease the residents and release some stress they could've been bottling up.
He was allowed the luxury to watch one of these battles ensue after a long hour of crying.
It was his beloved brother, Nico, versus another young man.
Quickly and effortlessly, Nico smoothly emerged victorious in the fight, attaining no injuries while delivering his opponent a dislocated arm.
Luckily, the whole village was close so no one harbored any malevolent intent or feelings toward another after losing.
After each bout, the group or people would erupt in cheers and whistles and Salvador jumped and giggled to show his excitement.
As a little child, he couldn't participate in said events, so along with the other younglings he would be placed in a house under supervision by an elderly woman except for his brother's fights which he watched.
It wasn't far off to say this woman reminded him of his grandma in his old world.
Kind, affectionate, and amazing to bluntly describe her.
It was clear she was nearly as old as Salvador before he died, yet she had a lively look in her eyes which Salvador didn't have.
Just like the other kids, none of them knew how to speak and could only communicate using actions.
From time to time, the kids would make a fuss and hit each other over toys, just basic infant things. 'Life is kinda boring.' He thought.
Unlike last time, nothing crazy happened. None of his family was on the ground waiting for their inevitable death.
Salvador lazily crawled around the room, indulging in baby activities to cure his extreme case of boredom.
From the corner of his eye, the elderly woman, Aline carried a book as she walked inside, sitting in her wooden rocking chair.
She was clad with a long robe that spanned to her feet, golden lines on the seams and collar.
She wore dark velvet pants and glasses Salvador never saw her use.
The book was quite thick, akin to a school textbook when he was young. It has a simple leather cover, and thin string to keep the book assembled.
'Interesting... Time to use the power of cuteness!'
The baby crawled over to the lady, staring into her.
"Gah! Goo!" He exclaimed. He reached his arms out, just skimming the book and letting out more gleeful giggles.
Aline gave a heartwarming smile and picked Salvador up by his armpits, placing him on her lap.
She flipped the large book open, revealing all the secrets and content attained in the book.
'Food... Bla bla bla... Where's the good stuff!' Salvador started playing with the book in an attempt to flip the page.
**"You're a little rowdy today."** She stated with a giggle.
Finally, Salvador got the page to flip and for the third time, he could not hold in his excitement.
'A fucking MAGIC SPELL!!! I don't know how to do any of the shit it's describing but holy fuck!'
The book contained instructions on how to correctly pronounce the chant, the hand gesture, and the 'force' and 'stage' it belonged to.
'It's a First force spell... What the fuck does that mean? Whatever... And the stage is 'High... I can only assume that it's probably pretty strong for its rank.'
He managed to reach the section where it spoke of the recommended mana core level to cast the spell.
'Middle Orange core is preferred. If your mana core is weaker, it can induce mana exhaustion and core damage after one or two uses.' He recited in his head.
'So mana core levels do exist, awesome. I guess it'll be a good way to gauge someone's power in the future.'
He read on until Aline flipped to the next page, also displaying another First Force Spell.
'Another first force spell. I can only assume as the forces go up they get stronger and require a stronger mana core. Awesome.'
He read on until a man barged through the door.
**"A MANA BEAST ATTACK! GET INTO THE CELLARS!"**
Instantly, the woman set Salvador down, moving a rug to reveal a large wooden square where it was clear it was movable.
'What the fuck is going on?' The situation was similar to when William was gravely hurt.
He grew full of anxiety and fright, what could happen to raise such fear and haste in the woman?
She placed her hands on top of it and a blue sheen of light grew around her hands.
For a few seconds, nothing ensued, but a slight clink could be heard as the door opened.
One by one she placed the babies in, the last being Salvador.
As she was about to leave, she grabbed the book and placed it in front of Salvador as she stepped to the back.
The same light enveloped her hands, although this time was fiery.
She lit the candle which finely illuminated the room.
She walked past all the babies, left the cellar, and began to shut it.
'Just what the hell is happening!' Salvador couldn't do anything but wait in the cellar. Of course, he was tense and scared, why wouldn't he be?
He was powerless, so if bandits were attacking he would surely die or get sold as a slave, just like in the novels. At least that's what he thought.
A long thread of thoughts at what could be occurring ran through his mind, and eventually, he placed it to the side. 'I know Nico and my father are strong. Or what if someone got hurt? No... Putting us in a cellar wouldn't be necessary.'
He distracted himself by reading the book.

Meanwhile on the outside.
Men and women flocked together, weapons in hand as they confronted the beast.
"This is going to be normal... After the war mana beasts grew rampant and started straying further from the woods." Nico explained to the others, his brother was a victim of one of these attacks.
The beast slowly circled the people, its breaths discharging smoke and heat. No one dared to step forward, awaiting the movement of the beast that opposed them all.
"It's a fire-type." A man said, stating the obvious.
The beast was quite enormous, reaching 6 feet on all fours. Spikes of fire protruded out its back and uncontrollably waved in the night air, its eyes a pure white.
Its nostrils were quite enlarged and its teeth were razor sharp.
"It's mana... Is this a Fourth Force beast? God damnit..." Yves cursed in his mind. 'If it's true... Casualties will be inevitable.'
