Elena sighed and came over to sit with him. With the kids sleeping, they had enough time for the conversation.
"I know that I chose to be absent from their fight, but can you tell me what it was all about?" she asked with an inquisitive gaze.
"Well," Mark heaved a sigh before putting his arm around her neck to bring her closer to him. "Caro had a bad premonition about May, Eric's ex, and from everything that's just unfolded, she was not wrong."
Then, he went ahead to tell her everything he knew that was wrong with his brother's relationship, including the one he witnessed plus the one Caro told him.
"If you ask me, May is working hard to drive them apart."
Elena shook her head. "I would rather say she is working overtime for that. I mean, I get her pain given everything she faced when together with Eric, but that doesn't mean she has to make a comeback in a cruel manner."
