Elena walked in on Mark and put down a glass of coconut milk drink. She had a cup of warm tea for herself, so she just sat down on another sofa and sipped it.
At last, when Mark put down the phone, she asked him a question, "Do you think we are any different from Chloe?"
Elena had been thinking about this since she found out that Chloe was pregnant. Even though he did not like this sister-in-law of hers that much, she would never have a prejudice against her.
Mark was taken aback by that question, so it took him a little while to come back around. "Of course, we are different," he answered while staring at her with a ridiculous expression on her face.
"How so?" Elena questioned, wanting to get every little bit of his response.
