Elena shook her head. This father-and-daughter relationship was growing stronger and improving without a lot of effort.
Little children were just very easy to please because of their innocent minds.
"So, where are we going to?" Elena asked, indirectly inviting herself. And trust Mark to single it out. "You want to join our party?"
"Why not?" Elena did not care if she was being shameless or not. She has to tag along and enjoy whatever benefits that would be encountered on those trips. "Anywhere you are taking my daughter, that's where I will be."
"Your daughter?" Mark raised a questioning brow. "She belongs to me as well, so she is ours."
Elena and Mark chatted for a bit while arguing a little about what did not make sense before getting tired and dropping the topic.
"Elena, I know that I am not spending as much time with you as I am supposed to, but I promise to make up for it," Mark promised.
