Chereads / The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen / Chapter 11 - The bridal Chamber

Chapter 11 - The bridal Chamber

Jaelyn is aware just how much consort Suva hates her even though she hasn't done anything to her, she is used to receiving hate from people for no reason so she wasn't bothered if not for the fact that she is pretending to be her gracious sister she would have dealt with her the same way she deals with her haters.

She tries to think of what her sister would have said in such a situation, 'I will perform my duties well, consort Suva,' or perhaps she would have replied, 'I will try my best to please the king consort Suva, you have nothing to worry about, I will keep your warning in mind,' or 'I will be at his highness service,' none of that made any sense to her even though she has thought of it, her lips wouldn't move she can't bring herself to say those words.

"I'm sure nothing will go wrong my consult Suva and you don't have to do anything, the king will do all the work," the old woman said with a smile jumping in to save her at least she didn't have to any of those words that made her want to barf.

'Of course, all of you are out of your mind, I wonder how Demelza plans to deal with them.' Jaelyn thought as she walks inside and the door was shut behind her. She agreed to do whatever Demelza told her but she has already drawn the lines that if he tries anything funny she won't play along with him.

She lift her veils and was astonished by what she saw. The room was white, red, and gold, with hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple-to-silver rings and pillars of marble. The bed was of gold and silver. There was a pavement of red, white, and black marble. She hasn't seen anything this beautiful in her life, the bridal chamber was indeed an auspicious place.

She spotted the golden cups on the table, she quickly went closer to see if they were indeed gold, she walks around in circles admiring the beauty of the room.

Meanwhile, Byron is trying his best to get Jetaime to enter the bridal chamber, "Are you sure your plan will work?" Jetaime asks for the fifth time. "Trust me Demelza and I have everything under control just play along, let them hear what they want to hear and I promise they will leave there before midnight," Byron said with a smile.

"And is she aware of the plan?" Jetaime asked nervously. "Who, the princess? Come on how will it be real if she is aware? Huh, Demelza told her to play along with you so don't worry now you have to unless you want Consort Suva to…" Byron hit the nail on its head. Any delay from him could make Consort Suva cancel the whole thing which is exactly what she wants.

"Say no more, I'm going," Jetaime replied finishing everything in his glass and storming out of the room like a man mad. Byron couldn't hide his thrill.

When the old woman saw him coming she smiles gracefully while the rest wondered if the king was really going through with it.

"You came?" Consort Suva asked in shock forgetting all about her fake concern, "It's my wedding night, why won't I come?" Jetaime asked in a hoarse voice. "What Consort Suva was trying to say is that you came just in time, right Consort Suva?" the old lady asked looking at her shocked face, she still needs time to recover from her stupefaction.

"Y-yes, yes the auspicious time was passing," she sputtered. "I will go in now," Jetaime said as the guards opens the door, he walks in fiercely as the door was shut behind him.

Jaelyn was supposed to be sitting on the bed with the veil covering her face but the veil was laying on the floor as she happily looks around pressing her hand on anything that she venerates. She didn't hear when he walk in. He picks the veil from the floor and gently folds it and set it on the table.

"Don't touch that!" Jetaime cautioned but it was too late his hoarse voice only frighten her making her get pricked by the sharp blade she thought was fascinating.

"Owww!" she yells in pain, her finger was hurt. Jetaime went closer to her and carried her in his arms.

"What are you doing? Stop! Don't come any closer! Don't touch me!" Jaelyn yells forgetting her bleeding arm. Jetaime ignores her and carries her to the bed and set her on it gently. He takes her hand gently.

"Let go! I can do it myself," Jaelyn grumbled pulling her hand away. She felt uncomfortable having him that close to her, Jetaime grabs her hand back forcefully pining it on the bed as he lays towards her until she fell flat on her back and him on top of her.

"What are you doing huh? I'm warning you!" Jaelyn couldn't keep her calm any longer, this was not what she had bargained for.

If she doesn't do something she will lose her dignity and perhaps charge with deceiving the king, this can't happen she thought trying to find a way to escape from the huge body on top of her.

"Quiet and stay still, you move too much and it's annoying," Jetaime curled her fingers to ease the painful rigidness, the blood serve his purpose well, and didn't want it to stop yet at least a little more mess will be perfect.

"Owww, stop it hurts!" he presses it a little harder as she yells still laying on top of her, Jaelyn keeps struggling to get him off her. Her other free hand mistakenly touches his mask making it loosen up a bit. Jetaime quickly swaps his hand closing the curtains around the bed and offing the candles at the same time.

Yet Jaelyn won't stop trying to free herself. "I think I have heard enough, the king is just impatience and doesn't need any guidance at all," the old lady mumbled with a wide smile after hearing all the noises coming from the room and even the lights were off.

"You can leave, I will stay," Consort Suva had no plans of moving from the door. "Suit yourself," she said leaving. Byron and Demelza were hiding behind a pillar checking their watches. "It's almost midnight, why is she still fit?" Byron asked concerned staring at Consort Suva and the other officials still glue at the bridal chamber.

"I did everything, right? It should be happening any moment from now," Demelza was sure, she remembers spicing consort Suva and the rest of the official's meal. They will soon need to use the washroom. Just then as expected they started leaving one by one to use the washroom.

"It seems I ate something bad, I need to use the washroom," one of the officials mumbled in a hurry. "Me too, you can stay here Consort Suva," another whimpered almost running out from there.

"We don't need to guide the door any, the king has no plans of coming out of that room he is enjoying himself, can't you hear the noises," another official said.

"Yes true, let's just come back in the morning,"

"Yes," the rest of the officials agree and leave behind Consort Suva, "Old fools!" she cusses leaning close to the door, she was sure something was wrong but she couldn't pinpoint what exactly, and that made her furious.

Suddenly she needed to use the washroom too, she was reluctant but it was an emergency she had no other choice but to attend nature's call.

"Finally!" Byron and Demelza hissed with a high five, their held their mouth when they remember Consort Suva might see them.

"Well, at least we can also have some fun tonight, right? Where did we stop the last time?" Byron whispers pulling his wife close in his arms.

"We must hurry then, we don't have much time," Demelza hissed back with a smile as they hold each other's hands and started running. It was a huge palace and running back to their own estate seems like a forever journey.
