With an affirmative reply, I returned my focus to the events within the spatial territory. Looking around me I noticed there was a rather interesting effect going on with those world birthing chaos storms. Each seemed to be generating a world in record time.
"Hmm, I'll have to check and see what happened to cause this particular reaction." I noted, calmly brewing some tea as my lightning ate away at the Ink Giant Spirit God. "You all look like you've been through quite the ordeal. Apologies, I had no way of knowing just how wild my breakthrough was going to be. Perhaps I should have done this in the Chaotic Dead Territory instead. In that case you'd have had Brother Sun and Sister Moon to protect you… Is everyone alright?" I asked with a waft of the tea traveling to the rather large group of cultivators.
"Son, how do you feel now?" Yang Kai asked. "I can already tell, of course, but it would put them at ease if they heard it from you." He added through our connection.
"Ah, I'm feeling rather alright. That pesky issue I had before seems to be gone." I answered. "Father, it seems I've managed to cause a bit of trouble this time. Would it be alright if I offered some first hand guidance after this experience?" I asked, indicating to everyone that I was more than willing to give instruction. "There also seem to be a few here who are close to their breakthroughs. They should think about taking advantage of this space. I've already perfected it for the break through. It's just a matter of time really. And as far as time goes… I'm going to be stuck here for at least a couple of years… Unless…" I continued on.
"Don't worry, I'll go visit with the twins and grab one of the dead worlds there. You can use it to carry that monstrosity out instead of the sliver of land there." Yang Kai chuckled, waving his hand. "Now then who wants to go and talk to the new Divine Monarch?" He asked, chuckling at the thought.
Luo Ting He, an 8th rank supreme elder had snapped to her senses a few breaths later. "I'm going! I have several questions I must ask." She said, darting off at full speed.
"AWE!" Qing Ning pouted. "I wanted to get up close first… Huh?" She mused and then found herself in my arms and laying across my lap.
"Don't worry, I won't leave you out. I wouldn't dream of it." I said, giving her a truly impassioned kiss.
"Husband, congratulations on your successful breakthrough. I'm sure my sisters would… Oh, they already are." Qing Ning giggled, sensing the feelings and sentiments coming through loud and clear.
By this time, Luo Ting He, had arrived and had an odd sulk. "Well, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. I too would have wanted my husband to want me first after such a wild event." She sighed, taking a seat across from me, on the other side of the table. "Even so, I thought I'd be first." She jabbed.
"Ahahaha, apologies I had teleported her over here. Something about being close to your loved ones after such an extraneous experience. Consider it a pull of sorts, or an innate desire. One I must listen to. I am unsure of what part of me is causing it. But I don't really care, after all, it isn't a problem." I laughed joyfully as the pot of tea floated up and poured a perfect cup of tea for the three of us. "Now then, what is it you want to ask about?" I said, calmly sipping my tea.
Luo Ting He stared at her cup of tea attempting to lift it. The twitch in her face indicated she was having a difficult time lifting it. "This tea is really something else, isn't it?" She asked.
"Hmm, oh? You're having a hard time lifting it? I see, that's troubling indeed. So then, what are you worried about, and don't try to lie. I can see through that without any effort." I said, taking a more serious tone, indicating that her inability to lift the cup was not an issue with the cup nor the tea.
"Hmm, Husband, this tea is… So good…" Qing Ning's face grew flushed as the tea nurtured every fiber of her being, mind, body and soul. "So good…" She added again with a pleasant smile.
"I… I have troubles and that's why I can't lift it?" Luo Ting He asked, I smirked and nodded gently. "I see, then I guess I'll have to ask. You had the plan of a bulwark for if you were to fail. But seeing you now… I doubt a bulwark would even matter. Am I wrong?" She asked, which nearly made Qing Ning lose her tea for a moment.
"I see, so you believe that it would be useless in the event I can not destroy the final enemy." I said, confirming the question. "You are wrong about a couple of things there. First, the bulwark will undoubtedly make a difference. Even if you have to move in with Brother Sun and Sister Moon for protection, having experienced cultivators capable of passing along their insights to be built upon is essential for the race's survival. Second, destroy the final enemy… I'm not so certain I on my own can pull that incredible of a feat off. As I am now, I could probably deal with a dozen Giant Spirit Gods at once. Any more than that and I'd definitely lose. Once, I reach the peak of the 8th rank though… That may very well be a different story." I explained. "It's not as though I don't have worries of my own." I added, taking another sip of my tea.
"Huh? Then, you lifting the tea? How are you able to do it?" Luo Ting He asked, damn near slamming her hand on the table.
"Oh? I thought you would know… Actually, it seems you do know. Well, you're at least half right." I chuckled. "For starters, I can feel the weight of my worries. However, I have the strength to overcome them. I also happen to know a few tricks on how to make my worries less worrying." I added, sipping again. "But you have another important issue don't you." I said, narrowing my eyes.
