"Huh? What issue do you mean? What could possibly be more important than the bulwark you spoke of?" Luo Ting He asked, frantically trying to figure it out. I simply stared her in the eyes and waited for her to continue. "Ah, yes, I was wondering what Qing Ning uses to keep her hands so soft and pretty." She said, taking the out she thought she had made. Her pride or something else made her ask something other than what her true aims were.
I chuckled for a moment and then whispered the answer to Luo Ting He, the resulting expression was to die for. "Now then, I suppose you were asking that to try and create distance from the obvious issue." I chuckled, swirling my tea with a smirk as I glanced up.
"So you could tell…" Luo Ting He murmured, with an embarrassed look on her face as she half pouted.
"Well, I did have a nearly perfect understanding of this realm, that is before I reached it just a few moments ago." I said with a light chuckle. "First I'll begin with this; My breakthrough was definitely more than you'll be dealing with when advancing to the 9th rank. I jumped 7 realms and if we look at them more closely, you might as well call it 3 major realms. And I did it twice over mind you, my alter ego of sorts had a whole separate cultivation line. But now, we have fully merged together. And I now have 3 small universes. One is already the pinnacle of the 8th rank. Perks of having such a large population. The other two are on their way up as well." I began. "As for the cultivation method you've been using, I feel it may very well be good enough. But since you wish for me to take a look at it. I shall." I added, setting my tea aside.
"You really are able to tell at a glance, aren't you? That I have a very real issue right now." Luo Ting He said, pulling out the method. "Since you are a half member of my paradise I guess… Ah nevermind, here." She said, handing the method over to me after the look I gave her when she uttered the word my.
I took the method and scanned it. Overall, it didn't seem too complicated to be honest. Rather it was abundantly simplistic. Though it did leave Luo Ting He with a rather deep regret. She was the type of person that wanted to marry. However, her lover had died outside long ago. And her cultivation has been bound to never love another the same way again.
"Hmm, Unfortunately, to fix the issue you're worried about at the moment… You'd need to start over completely. And I'm afraid you won't be able to do that either. I may be powerful, but I'm not all mighty." I said, passing the method back to her with a sigh. "I was able to help make some adjustments though. I'll see what you think about them." I added with a little bit more of an upbeat attitude.
Luo Ting He, upon reading the method with changes… Her eyes widened as she began thinking of how much time this would save her. "10, no 100? No, this could save me… up to 10,000 times the effort and time. Just how did you come up with something like this?" She asked.
"Like I said, my eyes have the gift of showing me the truth behind everything. Unfortunately you won't be the one benefiting the most from this change in technique, but the next generations certainly will. And you'll be there to help carve the path." I said, with a light sigh. "Now if only I could figure out how I'm going to make you guys strong enough to deal with the ink clones…" I added. "I don't have any ideas that don't seem beyond the ability of the human race. Even an absolute pinnacle 9th rank would struggle to pull off something like that… But maybe there is a way…" I muttered to myself.
"I'm sure you'll come up with something. I'd like to help as best I can. Do you have any suggestions?" Luo Ting He asked, curious as she put away the modified method.
"Just continue to raise the combat power of the human race. The higher the better. It would be nice to get those columns too. With those I can ensure ourselves at least another 50 years of safety from the Ink's progenitor." I explained.
"I see… Well then, in that case would you mind offering your assistance to those gathered here? I'm sure a safe place like this would be most desirable for them to break through." Luo Ting He said, lifting her tea with a bit of struggle and strain.
"As I said before, I will offer anyone brave enough to approach me the guidance they need. It is up to them to take that step forward." I answered with a small smile.
"Good. I'll take my leave now, Martial Nephew." Luo Ting He said, finishing her tea and then cupping her hands before leaving.
A few moments later several of the great emperor realms started discussing things among themselves. All except 1, who flew forward. His thoughts were clear and his question obvious. However, he never reached me. I nodded and showed him to a point in the void where I made a cushion out of a storm cloud.
"Thank you, Young Master Temporal Thunder!" The great emperor realm said cupping his hands and bowed at the waist 90 degrees. There he waited for a moment and then flew to the cloud. "I only have one element left. But I had been foolish and left fire for last. This place couldn't be any better now, I can feel it. It's time I finally break through." He mentioned.
"Hmm, so he'll break through to the 6th rank directly after all. I guess that's to be expected with the standards they have set these days." I thought. "A shame indeed. Had I come earlier, his future could have been that of the oh so sought after 7th rank directly." I mused lightly.
"Don't worry husband, the next generation won't be weakened by such limited standards. They have to keep up with the family after all. That alone will be quite the driver." Qing Ning explained, leaning on my shoulder.
